YouTube Released for PS Vita

Hello all,

More good news for the PS Vita! YouTube is now available for download for you. This is the app that is a must download if you’re on the go and want to watch some funny clips or music videos.
Here are some photos regarding the app running on our Handheld


Key features include:

  • Recommended Videos: Displays videos recommended from YouTube
  • Search: Search for videos by typing a keyword
  • Viewing History : Displays the most recent videos you’ve viewed
  • Add to Favorites: Displays a list of videos you’ve added to your Favorites list. You must be signed into your account to add a video to your Favorites.

    essentially, reccomended videos is just your front page of youtube. The only problem is that it has no annotation support OR ability to see an accounts channel to see only their videos ATM.

    I agree with you on that, I’m sure Sony will pick up their game and update their application. Chances are Sony tried releasing the App too soon.

    Finally. Sony was talking about how the PSVita would be able to compete with tablets, yet it doesn’t come with Flash support or a YouTube app. They having gaming down to a science, but if they want to keep up their claims of competing with tablets, the developers need to step up their game and get more apps for the Vita released.

    Thats why we need CFW ASAP!! cmon crack this beauty already :(   PS Vita will be great only thanks to modders and hackers out there, cracking it and developing/porting great apps for it.

       I know, right? Still waiting for my Angry Birds… I’m a hardcore gamer, but when I have a little time to kill, I don’t mind knocking down some piggies. And on a screen as big as the Vita’s, I would definitely enjoy it.
