WIP Video 5.03 GEN-B for HEN running 5.55+ OFW games

MaGiXien has give word on a 5.03 GEN-B demo video he made (embedded above), which shows 5.03 GEN-B in action. The video demonstrates a enabled PSP, running 5.03 GEN-B running various firmware 5.55+ games without any issues. The same feature that 5.50 GEN-D has. No more patching games for PSP-3000 owners once its released. And just a few more days to wait now as its due October 31st.

Oh and remember in order to use this you’ll need 3 things:

1) A PSP-3000 or PSP-2000 TA-088v3
2) Running Firmware 5.03 or less. This is important. If your on 5.50 or 6.10 your tough out of luck I’m afraid.
3) ChickHEN R2 working + 5.03 GEN-A, ready to run 5.03 GEN-B

    Well with this coming out hopefully itll end (but I doubt it) all questions of “will this work on a PSP 3000?”

        I was such a person a while back and I think in fairness, it’s very difficult, coming into the wonderful of CFW, to get an up-to-date version of the current state of the art, so to speak. I looked at a heap of forums, and found a lot of contradictory posts, many of which, in retrospect, were months out of date, and in the end, I had to ask the dreaded question. I think it would help if someone set up a well sign-posted forum thread which solely contained updates about what is currently possible for the 3000. That way, people could simply go to the most recent post and have their question answered, without having to wade through hundreds of unecessary posts. Those attempts which I found at such a thing had grown too large to function effectively that way by the time I found them

      Some of them bought his/her PSP too late. I got lucky and managed to get one of the last few 3000′s with 5.02 (after that, PSPs started shipping with 5.50).
      But yes, it’s inevitable that there’s going to be hoards of them You’ll see on Halloween…

    there are still new psp 1000 and 2000 in the shops you can buy and even if you cant fine you can buy second hand psp 2k with old mobo and replace both panels and there you go

        you wouldn’t be any different if u didnt have a hacked psp….I understand the frustration and although I didnt complain and waited over a year for the hacks to come for my psp……not everybody is the same so thats just their way of expressing frustration…..so instead of telling them off….we should reassure them that no firmware is unhackable…..all it takes is time……

        there are way to many whiners here. cfw is a gift (free). if there is no cfw for your psp or your firmware, dont complain. just wait or go buy a used psp that can run said cfw. this is all getting old.

        i also have a ps3. no cfw or chip or softmod for it. im not on any forums bitchin about it.

        all you a-holes that fill these forum pages to bitch about these cfws not working for your psp 2000v3 or 3000, just stop please. enough.

        actually imdabomb, i would be very different, had i gotten a psp 3k, i would have either not gotten CFW and left it at that, or i would have sold the POS and gotten a 1000, and if psp couldnt be hacked in the first place, then i probably wouldnt be on this site in the first place…

        I heard about an expoilt for 5.50-but no-one has updated that yet-and no idea if it can work on 3000 models.

        Here is what I say-do your research and look around for an older psp and save some cash than a brand new one that can’t be hacked.

        I spent months trying to track down an safe to hack psp 2000-I only knew it was safe thanks to research, firmware-and the fact that it was beaten up-thanks to a custom shell change and m33-it’s like new.
