VHBL Released for Everybody’s Tennis

Share

So Sony pulled , its was on PSN for a good 30 hours so I hope those that wanted it managed to download it in time before Sony pulled it. has today released the port for Everbody’s golf. Its downloadable below. There is a catch for EU users of the game. Make sure that you set the game to french when it first boots up. That is required in order for this to work.

HOW TO INSTALL AND RUN HBL ON EVERYBODY’S TENNIS

  • It is *strongly* recommended that you turn of all wireless connections on your , and that you use OpenCMA on your PC instead of the regular CMA. This is recommended because otherwise your console has a way to force you to upgrade the firmware even before you get a chance to use the exploit.
  • Extract the HBL archive matching your version of the game in your CMA PSP Savedata folder. It is a folder on your PC named PSSAVEDATA/[lots of random characters here]. If you don’t know where it is, check your settings in CMA
  • Connect your PS Vita to the PC through the CMA, it should give you the possibility to copy the savedata from your PC to the Vita. If not, you probably extracted it in the wrong folder. (Note: You will also want to install some homebrews with a similar technique, read the section below)
  • Important for owners of the European version of the game: Before running Everybody’s tennis, you need to change the language of your PS Vita/PSP to French. This is a limitation of the exploit for now, this might or might not change in future revisions. you can of course switch your console back to your own language once you are done playing with VHBL.
  • To run HBL, start the Tennis game, select “Continue” in the Main Menu. At this point, HBL should start

HOW TO INSTALL AND RUN HOMEBREWS

Installing homebrews on the PSP was an easy task. On the Vita, until better solutions are provided, it’s quite a pain in the ass.
The CMA will only let you copy savedata, and will not recursively browse folders.

To address this, HBL comes with a tool that can extract archives with a specific structure.

Packaging the homebrew for installation on the Vita:
1) download PSP homebrews from your favorite website
2) extract the homebrew somewhere on your hard drive, and with your favorite utility, zip it again with the *store* setting (no compression), in a file that you will name “install.zip”
3) take any PSP savedata (but not the one used for HBL!), and add the “install.zip” to that folder, in your PC CMA folder. so your PSP Savedata will look something like this:
in folder PSSAVEDATA/1a2b3c4def5678/UCUS12345000/ (or something like this) you will have the following files:
- ICON0.png
- PIC1.png
- DATA.bin
- PARAMS.SFO
- install.zip

Damn, it took them a whole day to figure out that was the game being used? Sony’s getting slower.

do i really need to have the PSN version to make this work?

  • Gamble_STARS

As long as cheat programs and pirating is not circulated, I have no issue with this. I just don’t want devs pulling out and leaving me with a $270 brick. Just like what happened with the PSP.

    • Luis Cesário de mendonça júnio

If devs were only aiming for homebrews, and they could have acess to Vita full hardware,
homebrews would be amazing. But often it is used for piracy mainly, and that’s kinda sad,
what kidn of respect do these guys want to have from us users? Wololo claims his
HBL was not and will not be for piracy or things like it, ok then, time will tell…
And why does every hacker over the world hates sony so much? Come on, go fuck
up the 3DS, no one is actually caring to hack it! They only want to destroy the prime
work Sony delivered to us within this device.
Character, character is something some devs have and many hackers don’t…

      • Gamble_STARS

Yeah, IKR! Nintendo hardly gets targeted. I’m pulling more for Sony this time to fight back. Cause I don’t want to see cheaters in every lobby I join, 3-8 is fine for a months period, but encountering a hacker every hour is ridiculous.

      • Throwyourcrap

The 3DS is a weak device. Hackers don’t target the PSP and Vita because they hate SONY. Hacking SONY devices leads to greater operability. Hacking is opportunistic. Traveling salesmen don’t pitch their wares in the desert. Think about it.

Thank you Wololo for your VHBL port for Everybody’s Tennis, but sadly I already had purchased the US version when I still had my PSP.  I didn’t re-download it when I got my Vita (kicks himself), so now I am out of luck if a US ver. port was to get released.

Maybe in the future we (Devs/Vita gaming community) could figure out a way to get the name of the game or app. that was used without Sony pulling it from PSN.

Sorry for the long post, but thanks again to Wololo and every other Dev. that makes it possible for us to get the most out of our systems.

To: PSPfan or whoever is responsible for posting news.

Sorry in advance for posting this here when I should write a message on the forum.

I have been using this site for many years now, it’s always my first source for everything PSP related and it is the only site I recommend to everyone who’s psp I have fixed or hacked. I would like to thank you for always being there for me and the many other users over the years.  I would just like to inform you that 6.XX PRO-C beta was released recently along with a few new homebrews and updates. I’m sure you just missed it with all the Vita updates and all that. I have done this before (I’m known as TYSARD everywhere) and I realize that this post is allot longer than it should be and contains many “I”s.
PSP-Hacks has always been my second source, they have all the information on all the recently released stuff. As stated before, this is my first source for everything PSP and I’m sure I’m not the only one. I love you guy’s and I don’t mean to SPAM or anything, just trying to help out. I don’t comment as much as I’d like to but, thank you for all your hard work keeping this site up and running all these years!

PRO-C is big news, doesnt matter if its beta

  • Logicman92

sony is not try to act quick on removing anything from market there learning from are forums how to better block us from modding  and hacking and all that but in the same breath make a little extra cash then force an update that removes the hack you bought game for basically any hack worth a damn should not be released to the public on forums where the user has not been a member long nor has many post its very possible sony invests millions into paying people to browse the web in search of these hacks please devs keep em coming but dont release anything easy until you have back up plan other exploits etc or possible cfw

be leave me i love homebrew as much as everyone but sony is on the ball if they can monitor us this easy than we need a fix 30hours is still a quick fix could be quicker but sony just gathers evidence/data on users taking everything into account to cut any loss and minimize it with every step we take they build a whole other flight of stairs we must walk just to catch up

sorry for such a long post

    i discovered something interesting today.

My mate had purchased a game off the PSN network that i played and really liked, i had the thought of using the vita content manager and copying it to my computer and then copying it accross to my vita memory card.

i thought in theory this would be nice if it actually worked but surely sony would have come up with some simple way to block this.

well after copying it across to my memory card it did how ever alow me to play the game. but when opening the game it did come up saying i could not earn trophys.

i thought i would try another thing and delete both files out of the ‘save game data’ folder within the games files and then copy it back across to my vita. Again i was quite surprised because now that message doesnt come up and im earning trophies in the game.

im not too sure if its a glitch within this one game or not, but i realy dont think sony would make it THAT easy for people to copy paid for games…
