UO gPSP Kai 3.3 Easy Installer

GBA Emulator UO 3.3 test 2 build 132

Seeing that many users have been having trouble installing . I have decided to continue my Easy Installers (some may remember my hombrew and CFW easy installers). This is my first new release of many installers to come which will take the hassle out of installing emulators for users that have trouble.

Today’s is: UO 3.3 test 2 build 132 – Without a doubt the best PSP GBA emulator out there. Alot of people have had difficulties installing this emulator. 3.3 has TV-Out via PSP-Slim units, fast emulation, can run diffulcult games like Baldurs Gate – Dark Alliance & 007 Nightfire at full speed and includes cheat support.

Installation instructions:

Its very simple, download the installer below, run it and select your PSP memory card PSP\GAME folder. The installer takes care of the rest, all you need to do is legally acquire your gba_bios and GBA roms. Place them in the correct directories and your all set!

Full Credit to eXophase the GBA emulator master and Takka for his recent work on gpSP

For support please vist our UO gpSP Kai 3.3 Easy Installer forum support thread.

    After the install:

The GBA_BIOS.bin goes in folder the root folder (uo_gpsp_kai_3_3)
GBA Roms go in the uo_gpsp_kai_3_3\GBA\ROM folder.

I dont understand how people get confused with installing things. Its basically compressing and copy paste. It doesent get any simpler than this. Sigh.

Still, atleast someone is taking the time to help people out so thanks PSP-fan. Less spam in the forums prolly ( not that I would know, i left a lonnng time ago rofl)

Many noobs can even do that. But no UO gPSP kai is hard to install firstly the folder text is too long, it will show as currupted, no folders install anymore GBA/ROM folder etc aren’t there and the instructions are very poor!

Great job PSPFan, its not needed by many but thanks for helping the noobs!!!!

You would be surpised how many people can’t install an emulator. Just look at our forum… These installers are aimed at noobs with no idea.

It still plays mario tennis slowly, but other than that it installs great, you still need a illegal BIOS

There is a difference in this version compared to previous versions:
IN MENU: X = OK; O = CANCEL (with PSP in english)
    however, the PSP displays the opposite… ( O = OK; X = CANCEL )

    Maybe fix this?
(other than that, it’s great… can’t wait for a version that emulates WiFi to trade pokemon!!! XD)

to PSPFan: im confused, i’ve just installed the emulator to the psp, then you need the GBA_BIOS.bin thingy..then the rom..the question is, when i want to put the game, should i directly paste the .zip file to the rom folder? pls help :(

  • Adrian
    April 12, 2009 at 12:34 am

    Cannot see your games loaded?
Then it could be because you unziped the files, you need to put the .GBC files zipped in that ROM folder :D

  • Adrian
    April 12, 2009 at 12:39 am

Mine exits when loading the game, it says “loading zip” or somethign and when line gets to around half it exits to PSP menu.
    Any ideas?

How do you get the emulator to work on your TV?

I have the component cable hooked up to the PSP, and into my TV. I switch the Video Output to display on the big screen, and I see the PSP menu screen just fine on my TV, but when I start the software the TV goes blue, and I can’t see the emulator.

My NES, SNES, GBC, and Genesis emulators work fine like this, but the GBA does not.

The emulator works fine on the PSP; it’s just when I try to change the output to the TV is when it doesn’t work.

Any help would be very much appreciated.
