PSP Developer Takka has released another update to to his famous unofficial UO for PSP. We hope Takka continues to tweak and improve the best Gameboy Advance emulator out there. Not many changes in this latest version. added a zoom feature and fixed the file extractino from zips.

UO 3.4 test 3 changelog:

  • Added option to zoom the screen
  • Fixed extracting files from archives.zip

PSP Developer Takka has today released an up to to his famous unofficial UO for PSP. While his release blog is in Japanese we have gathered the following from the changelog.

* Changed the main font and subfont
* Added missing GBA folder in emulator’s archive
* Changed the format of the save state
* Added option to load the previous save state of the original versions

gpSP GBA emulator 20090413

An anonymous Japanese PSP Developer has released a new version of gpSP GBA Emulator labelled gpSP 20090413. Its based of the source code and while not much is now as there is no release text. It does feature a number of bug fixes.

UO 3.3 test 2 build 132

Seeing that many users have been having trouble installing . I have decided to continue my Easy Installers (some may remember my hombrew and CFW easy installers). This is my first new release of many installers to come which will take the hassle out of installing emulators for users that have trouble.

Today’s easy installer is: UO 3.3 test 2 build 132 – Without a doubt the best PSP out there. Alot of people have had difficulties installing this emulator. 3.3 has TV-Out via PSP-Slim units, fast emulation, can run diffulcult games like Baldurs Gate – Dark Alliance & 007 Nightfire at full speed and includes cheat support.

Installation instructions:

Its very simple, download the installer below, run it and select your PSP memory card PSP\GAME folder. The installer takes care of the rest, all you need to do is legally acquire your gba_bios and GBA roms. Place them in the correct directories and your all set!

Takka has released another version of his gba emulator, here’s the changelog:

  • HOME keys hung at the end of a correction
  • Menu at the “o” and “x” button operation of the PSP to match the setting
  • Cheat easing restrictions on the length of the name (UTF-40 character in securing 8N)
  • Fbm_print.c memory management malloc / free changes
  • OAM to write the byte level to modify treatment
  • TV output parameters to adjust
  • Video initialization bug fixes
  • Built-in TV output parameter to delete (video.cfg successful TV output if unable to read)
  • Some edge of the screen to modify textures (test8.6 far been avoided parameters)
  • IO to register byte / word write using a jump table, speed stabilization
  • Add to cheat documents

  • Wireless LAN environment is not the way from here
  • Fonts created for the conversion tool, is included.
  • Comments pointed out that there was garbled Cheat Code of the character code encoding to UTF-8N changed.
  • Windows2000 (maybe XP) than Notepad, save time, you can choose a character code.
  • Windows95/98/me of the conversion software, or to use unicode compliant editor please.

Unofficial gpSP Kai v3.2 Test 07 released. Japanese emulator developer Takka has released Unofficial gpSP Kai v3.2 Test 07 (Gameboy Advanced Emulator). This newer version features a bunch of bunch fixes and slight improvements. This emulator is based on Exophases and as such, is an unofficial Port.

Takka has just recently updated the latest version of gpSP Kai to version V3.2 Test 05. This is the first Emulator to have support for full screen TV output. This release is an unofficial port to Exophases . Takka has offered significant changes and continues to improve on Exophases work. There are more improvements up and coming shortly when Takka releases gpSP Kai v3.2 test 06. Will let you know as fast as possible when he releases this.

UO 3.4 test 1 build 2

Gameboy Advance Emulator for the PSP Slim. By far this is the best GBA emulator out there, I’ve tested this myself as it runs very fast, perfect sound and the emulation is pretty much 100%. Now features full screen TV Output on the PSP Slim.

This version is for the PSP Slim and supports the full 64mb of RAM available on the PSP Slim. Tested on Custom Firmware 5.00 M33-6
