Homebrew developer Nefarious has released Cross Extended version 1.2. Cross Extended is a custom firmware plug-in that allows you to see all sorts of PSP system info displayed on screen, like battery info and motherboard type etc.
Whats new in version 1.2?
* Motherboard identification up to TA-088v1 Slim.
* Added TA-079v1 1g (Tachyon = 0×00140000, Baryon = 0×00020600).
* Added reboot & shutdown function.
* Configurable global buttons from “ce_config.txt”.
* Revised user-interface.
* Revised control callback function (for control input issue in TA-079 & TA-088 ).

Cross Extender V1.1
Nefarious has released an update to his custom firmware plug-in Cross Extended. This is a bug release version that fixes an incompatibility with certain homebrew applications and will now show memory cards greater than 4GB.
Changelog:
1.1 (build date 08/08/2008 )
* Fixed strange control bug when used with other homebrew (notably PSPFiler, LightMP3)
making it completely available in games.
* Fixed the limitation for Memory Stick greater than 4Gb.

Cross Extended v1.0
Nefarious has released a new custom firmware plug-in called Cross Extended which displays your PSP system information in the XMB or in a game. It will display your memory card details, motherboard spec, battery voltage etc. (See the above screen shot)
You can also take a screenshot of the system information using Note + R. This is handy for users wanting to know what type of motherboard they have.
