Its only been a few days and Dark_AleX has released Custom Firmware at lightning speed.

Apart from the obvious firmware number change (see below), this update comes with a bug fix.
Dark_AleX:

Bug fix: when changing speed in xmb, and the psp turned the brightness to 0 automatically the speed was reseted to 222 again.

The readme also mentions that users of the save state plug-in will have to wait for an update due to problems with compatibility.

This firmware is made by a new developer Mathieulh. He states that had no hand in the making. This has all the updates of , , and a litle bonuses by Mathieulh. Heres the specs:

* Uses the kernel
* Implented all the original custom firmware features.
* Ability to use the normal recovery inside the XMB by pressing the HOME button:
o When in the recovery, the system is suspended, and you can change all options directly.
o All options work immediatly, there is no need to reboot (even the Slim’s USB charging option)
o Ability to make a Pandora battery from the recovery, read and restore the EEPROM, etc. Providing that the motherboard supports it.
* Ability to hide the MAC adress in System Information, if you do so, the MAC will show visually as all 0’s.
* Ability to save the savegames in normal format, rather then encrypted (only functions in March33 and Sony NP9960 mode).
* The native pops isn’t as good as the previous pops, therefor I hope the popsloader will get updated to support .
