First off there are plugins out there that people don’t talk much about. So here are two plugins which can add a little more customization to your PSP. Hit the More button to check them out.

First we have the Wallpaper changer by HELLCAT released under the GNU license. But not just any wallpaper changer, it does it timely and can change more. Here’s a quote from the readme :

However, you have a few options:

- Two “modes”: “Everytime” and “Once per day” (see below)
- Predefined images for any specific date
- change the XMB background *BEHIND* the waves (a.k.a. 01-12.bmp) – WITHOUT writing to flash!
- Randomizing/Changing of PTF themes
- Randomizing/Changing of the Gameboot

Our next one is the cXMB plugin. Longstory short, this plugin enables the user to switch themes without having to flash them. The flash files are converted to one single .ctf file and stored on the memory stick. Meaning less chance of getting a brick. These .ctf files have been floating around lately and if you want to make one, the instructions come with the download which is at the source.
