Sony to announce the December 9th?

Last month we had this: Playstation Phone aka PSP Phone is real! And now Sony Ericsson France has an announcement to make on the 9th of December. Its not too hard to guess what it is now, looking at the invitation. Its from Sony Ericsson (Mobile phones) and it has a phone logo & PlayStation button logo’s. Hmmm not exactly too hard to put 2 & 2 together = PSP Phone :)

The lastest rumor is the phone is packing a nice high-resolution touchscreen screen with high pixel density. (Think Iphone 4) And a 1GHz processor, 512MB RAM. All running on the lastest Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS.

      If they get a carrier in whatever country you’re located, sure. It may have a 250 dollar price point. However, if they are selling unsubsidized you’re looking at paying at least 500 dollars.

      most likely will. But I don’t care since I am not getting one. Theres no point in hacking Android, theres thousands of apps. I don’t know why people waste their time jailbreaking Apple OS or Android. Too many apps to choose from.

        There is no real reason to hack Android, which is why I hope Sony is smart and uses Android on the PSP2 for homebrew support. (Android “app” on the XMB) If they do that then the potential of the PSP2 will be far beyond any handheld system that has come before it.

        I have an HTC Desire (on Android) and its been hacked (they use the term ‘rooted’), and the custom ROMs/kernels you can get greatly improve the phones performance among other things, aswell as remove bloatware thats preinstalled. You definately need root access to overclock/underclock the cpu, plus if you want to install custom kernels/ROMs with extra stuff you need root access. If root was available on the psp phone there could be a lot of cool possibilities

    hey guys i saw a picture at http://mhu2d.net/ and i noticed that in the bottom right corner it says “A enter” and “B back” i think someone is messing with us! maybe sony?

    You know… Maybe i’ts just a Coincident, but today (Monday, November 29th, 2010) they launched and update for Media-Go® with “Improved compatibility and New Devices supported”. Maybe they actually included a hidden compatibility for the so called “PSP Phone”. It’s also funny how it’s just 10 days before the rumor may come true- “Sony Ericsson to announce PSP Phone December 9th?” Specific detail from Media Go- The following new Sony Ericsson device is supported: Xperia™ X8. In addition, the new version of Media Go provides support for the latest Xperia™ X10, Xperia™ X10 mini and Xperia™ X10 mini pro (Hidden- PSP Phone?)
