lol in tthat test 5 release i already had donkey kong country at full speed without any frame skipping at all, just any psp accel mode and 333mhz and it worked no problems @ 60fps all the way, and this emulator version doesn't seem to do that, but it's mentioned to be better, wtf?

Forget changing to 4:3 screen size and frame skip 3. Instead, switch the Sound Output frequency to 33075hz or 44100hz and if game is a bit slow (Donkey Kong for example) use frame skip 1.

Side note: I used psp accel. + accur. soft. game engine for most game play but sometimes you need to change it to see certain graphics in games.(use L + START to switch game engines faster during game play and to use the menu when using psp accelerated).

I have found that the best combination to play a Super Nintendo Emulator is this:

1) dload snes9xTYL MECM 091011-3 emulator which is the snes emulator released before the Euphoria version.

2)replace the eboot of this file with the eboot that comes with Snes9xTYLsmcm Test 5 27/05/08

3)Adjust the settings to:
Renderer : PSP Accelerated
FrameSkip : 2

This was tested on Donkey Kong Country and Killer Instinct using a psp slim TA-088 V1/V2 model with 5.0m33-6 cfw and played perfectly.

You may be asking "why not just use the Snes9xTYLsmcm Test 5 27/05/08 emulator and change the settings?" That is fine unless you are using the "game_categories" plugin. If you were to place
the Snes9xTYLsmcm Test 5 27/05/08 emulator into a specially made folder lets say Cat_Emulators, then it would appear as a "corrupt" icon on the xmb menu because the file name turns out to be more than 18 characters long. Only a file name of 18 characters or less will not be corrupt. The only way to see it would be to disable the "game_categories" plugin. Renaming the file name to less than 18 characters would also cause the emulator to crash.

For this reason we use the snes emulator snes9xTYL MECM 091011-3 which turns out has a file name of exactly 18 characters when dloaded and we use the eboot file of the most up to date snses emulator for the slim.We change the setting and voila. We now have a fully functional snes emulator that we can use with the game_categories plugin.

To fix this you should copy your roms outside of emulator folder e.g. ms0:/SNES/
When encounter "error reading memory stick" press triangle, this will bring you to the parent folder and you will be able to select any dir on memory card except folder where emulator eboot is stored.
