Semi Brick Recovery V1 Released.

If your on a PSP model that is some how semi bricked. Not completely bricked aka dead, then RainMan might just have a solution for you. Semi-Brick Recovery is an application that might help you recover your PSP to its former glory.

With this homebrew you can fix semi-brick PSP without having to flash the PSP completely from scratch. You can either install an extra custom recovery menu, or launch the tool using the Recovery flasher. If you want to install the extra recovery menu, your old menu will be overwritten.

Installation:

  1. Copy all of the unzipped archive folder to PSP / GAME.
  2. Run the app from Game, in the XMB and press L-Trigger and R , In order to install the new Recovery menu.
  3. Wait until the operation is finished, the PSP will restart and boot them into the recovery menu.
  4. Now select the third option “Run program / PSP / GAME / SEMIBRCK / EBOOT.PBP” from start to the program.

Changelog:

  • New Recovery menu can be installed.
  • The design was changed.
  • Some minor bugs were fixed.

Warning: Don’t go messing about with this application if you don’t know what your doing.  We’re not responsible if you manage to completely brick your PSP! Use with extreme care!

    awww i want a custom recovery menu on 5.03 =( maybe it would fix the thing where you have to click above what you want (which is a challenge if your really tired or drunk)but it was written “flash” somewhere which means not for psp 3k =(

    I had an 5.03 firmware and then i have updated it to 6.30 firmware … Now is there any way to go back to the previous firmware ?

    but i have a 6.35 hen on my psp 3000 so when i restart the vsh for some fonts i get the blue screen of death and i cant get to the recovery menu

    remover battery plug in ac charger chord and plug on switch and start as normal if it doesnt work then press the home button and power on psp this will definately work and only if u hav cfw
