Hello there,

Well here it is a long awaited look into the newest instalment of the franchise. Before we take a look at : Burning Skies we shall have a little look back across the other in the series.

It all started way back in 2006 as a launch game for the Ps3 with Resistance: Fall of Man

This title was developed by Insomniac, previously known for the Rachet and Clank series on the .

The game left players in control of Nathan Hale, who has the help rid the the European continent of the Alien race known as the Chimera.

Following this success a sequel was then released in 2008 which the fight against the Chimera move across the Atlantic to the US,  mostly based around the San Francisco area which iconic scenes such as the Golden Gate bridge.

Next in the series was Resistance: Retribution, This was based between the first two games, and saw players take on the roll of James Grayson. This game was released in 2009 and was developed by  Sony Bend, Retribution was uniquely designed to be played on the portable system.

Jumping back to the main series came Resistance 3 in 2011, unlike the previous games on the console this game put players in control of Joseph Capelli, this is also based in the US this time being round the New York area.
