This is the best homebrew app period. You can save videos that are in .flv format, the interface is awesome, and now the playback of stage6 divx videos… Awesome job SofiyaCat.

I am a newbie to PSP. After downloading this upgrade and copying it to the PSP/GAME directory of my son’s new 2001 slim, I tried to load the program. I found a PSPTube icon under the Game/Memory Stick icon, but I got the error message “The game could not be started (80020148)” Two other possible relevant facts - I updated the system software to 3.80, and I didn’t do anything to the “config.js” file (because quite frankly I don’t understand it). Any suggestions?? Thanks.

johngilb are you running Custom firmware ?
December 30th, 2007 at 4:58 pm
Sorry to be ignorant, PSP Fan, but what is custom firmware, and how can I find if I am running it?
December 30th, 2007 at 8:42 pm
Custom Firmware enables you to run unsigned programs, like psptube. If you have custom firmware, it will say under system information -
“3.71 M33-2″ or similar
To put custom firmware on your psp, visit the forum and go to tutorials and check the reference guide.
