And you can now play FIFA 12 in 3d using the FIFA 11 setting without it crashing. P.S remember your going to need some old fashion 3D glasses. You know they ones with the red and green lens filters…

PSP3DPlugin 2.21 changelog:

- fixed a bug with the logging which seem to always on and causes huge lagg
- FIFA 12 does work now with the same settings as FIFA 11 and does not crash while loading anymore

ALL ’3D’ forces your brain to interpret the objects as being in real space; not just Anaglyph.

    • Romelogs

its ok to stay in 5.03 prometheus, its compatible to run ANY Games, believe me coz i tested both prome and B10, you don’t need to update on newer cfw.

  • Thrawn

Ähm… it seems everybody is outdated… we have Pro B10 fix 1 :)
(which is apparently B10 but with a minor bug fix in cipl flasher) XD

      Lolwut?? XD

    • DTeKDeV

Everyone has B10 because they mostly have PSP 3000′s. CIPL Flasher is for the hackables, so no need updating your 3000.

      Go, take a look here.

Does this 3d plugin really work? Its the first one I’m trying?

  • J-Law

I’m having a hard time installing it, please help

    • Thrawn

First: what kind of psp do you have? Go or brite/slim/street ?
Second: which game are you trying to use this on?
Third: which CFW (I assume you’re on 6.60 b10 as stated above from you)?

Have you ever installed a plugin? If not do the following:
Connect your psp via usb to your pc.
Your psp should now be a mass storage device and you can see the files on it.
On root of your psp there should be directories… there is one directory called “seplugins”, if not -> create it. Open this directory, copy the “psp3d.cfg” and “psp3d.prx” into this directory.
Create a text document inside the directory “seplugins”.
Rename that text document to “GAME.TXT”, open that text file – now i would need to know what psp you have go or brite/slim/street.
If you own a brite/slim/street, copy following line into that text file, save and close it:
      ms0:/seplugins/psp3d.prx
If you own a go, copy following line into that text file, save and close it:
      ef0:/seplugins/psp3d.prx
Now disconnect your psp from the pc. Boot pro b10 if not already running, hit select, now navigate to “RECOVERY MENU” hit x. Now you’re in the recovery menu, there should be an entry “PLUGINS” or so.
Swap inside that entry, there should be your plugin, enable it via the navigation arrows left right.
Hit “back” and then navigate to the lower entry, it should be called “RESTART VSH” (depending on your language), hit that.
Your psp will reboot, with enabled plugin, you should now be able to play in 3d mode.
Keep in mind not every game works, if you’re having troubles with a game disable this plugin in the recovery menu.

Give us a reply if it worked, or you’re still struggling and if so in which part you’re struggling.

  • J-Law

Hi, thanks for responding…k now,the psp I’m using is the slim & lite (psp-3004 PB)… I did copy the psp3d.cfg and psp3d.prx…created a text doc, named it “GAME.TXT”, copied the ms0(Zero):/seplugings/psp3d.prx after opening the text doc…when I disconnect the psp and go to the recovery menu “Plugings” and press x to view the plugin…I see no plugin… All I see is “PRO Recovery Menu, Plugins on memory stick, > Back…no plugin… What did I do wrong?

    • Thrawn

Hmm… seems a bit strange, I have no psp right with me, I’m still working, do one thing, turn off the psp completely.
Turn it on again, boot pro b10 once more (just to ensure a fresh start of pro).
Here is the directory file list: files must be as listed here
      ms0:/seplugins/game.txt
      ms0:/seplugins/psp3d.cfg
      ms0:/seplugins/psp3d.prx
ms0:/psp/.. (this is where your isos lie, just for example)
      and so on.
Change the line in the game.txt to “ms0:/seplugins/psp3d.prx 1″ but don’t copy the qoutes.
As soon as I get home I’m gonna try it out ok ;)
We will get a solution for ya though you will have to wait about 5-6 hours till I can try it. :)

  • J-Law

I got it to show up…the thing I did wrong was naming the text doc “GAME.txt”…I named it “GAME” and it is showing now…thanks a mill…now, its time to see if my games will show in 3d…thanks

  • J-Law

    …Uhm, how do I activate it…when I’m playing a game… I’m trying ultimate ghosts n goblins…or is the game not supported…?

  • Thrawn

Ok at least it showed up, that’s some good news. :)
A list of supported games can be found here: blog.pspwizard.de/psp-3d-plugin.
Ultimate ghosts’n goblins seems to be not originally supported but tested by some other user to work, so you got a 50-50 chance to get it to run.
Um is the plugin enabled? Did you restart the vsh? Do this, then enter the game and when inside the game hold start for more than 5 seconds. You should than jump into the settings menu. I guess you should load or create settings for this game. :)
I can’t help you much more cause currently I’m not home. :(

  • Thrawn

Ahhh just do a little reading XD you should go into the game and then you can activate the plugin via the “NOTE” button… – this should have been in the read me *grrrrrrr*

  • J-Law

I’ll try the hold start 5 sec trick…thank u very much Sir…I assume ur a guy… Thanks for ur help

  • Thrawn

;) at least i was of help a little bit.

  • chin2

    i did everything….also enabled 3d plugin in recovery menu….
all i wanted to know is do i have to press some button or sumthin to actually enable(start) dis???? i m playin silent hill…i cn c the plugin enabled in recovery menu…n also is der any option to adjust d 3d settings????

  • J-Law

I only got mine to work when put the v2.2 and v2.1 on…but the game I tried “ultimate ghosts n goblins” was runig slow…what now?

  • Thrawn

    @chin2
go into your game then press the “note” button, the little one left to select. This activates the plugin in game.

press start in game longer than 5 seconds, then you can adjust settings.

    @J-Law
sorry I’m not the dev so as far as I can help, I would suggest you “overclock” the psp and activate inferno mode for memstick reading. Go into the recovery menu then go to “ADVANCED” and hit x, then search the entry “Memory stick acceleration” or so. Swap with the left right buttons till it says “always”.
    This should speed things up.

  • J-Law

I’m only using one plugin now and its all good…slowing down is still a kick…worms 2 is working fine…Ultimate G n G is working fine in 3D until to many enemies appear… Isn’t there a plugin that can improve the cpu speed, I mean stranger things have happened here…we can play games in 3D now…on a psp…?
Thrawn: Do u experience any problems with this 3D, slow? Or is yours perfect?

    • Thrawn

To be honest, I have downloaded it but then I realised that I do not own one of those blue red glasses XD.
So I haven’t installed that one due to the lack of requirements. :(

Have you tried to set the cpu speed in the vsh menu? And did you try to set memstick to inferno?

  • J-Law

Yip, It came out with those setting by default…it did help me cos some cso game I have acted like it was scratched when the intro movies played “Tekken 6 and Exit”, they are runnig smooth now since I got the recovery B-10…I’ll search the net, maybe the is something I can do to to play with the cpu speed…isit the cpu speed that is the problem?

  • Thrawn

Imo it is mainly a lack of calculation speed, in other words the psp hasn’t enough power to get both images done at the same time within the preferred range of time to keep it looking smooth. 1 picture per 0.043 seconds or -> 23 to 25 frames per second.
This mainly depends on the game, as every game has a different usage of cpu/gpu power.
For example: I’m sure if I would try that plugin on white knight chronicles origins (which happens to slow down even without any plugin enabled) I would get a dia show. :(
So if you would find a way to safely overclock it a little bit, it might be enough to run the “most” games fluid. Why “most”? Because there are certain games which use about 90 to almost 100% of the psp’s cpu/gpu so you would need the double amount of calc speed. And this is where the cpu/gpu of the psp will crash due to the tight timings of memory access, bus speed and cpu clock. (common overclocker knowledge) :)

  • PSPGOGUY

I have a PSP GO, I’ve tried to put this 3D plug-in in. I followed the instruction that Thrawn put up, when Enter Recovery Menu and go to the plug-in section I get two choices 1.system storage 2. memory stick, both options are empty. I’m currently running 6.60 b10, If someone could help it would be much appreciated.

    Rules that I followed:

  • J-Law

@chin2: I installed that one yesterday and it made my psp shut down when I put it in VSH.txt…I took it off and still don’t know what’s its work on the psp…

  • Thrawn

    Back again…
    @PSPGOGUY:
Did you put that plugin onto the memory card or onto the internal storage?
Know that you must put the plugins onto the internal memory as far as I know.
If you did that, then create a text file in the seplugins onto the internal memory.
    Example:
    ef0:\seplugins\game.txt
    ef0:\seplugins\psp3d.prx
    ef0:\seplugins\psp3d.cfg

Open the text file put in following:
    ef0:/seplugins/psp3d.prx 1
    It should show up then.

    • PSPGOGUY

I’m doing something wrong but I can’t figure it out. I have my files saved on the PSP’s hard drive. What do I name the file That I’m supposed to put ef0:/seplugins/psp3d.prx 1 in?
      I do have:
      Game.txt
      psp3d.cfgh
      psp3d.prx

Thank you for your continued support.

  • chin2

yeah everything is now working properly….3d n also the cxmb…. thanxx thrawn….:)
