I was having some problems with that as well its because there is 2 index.dat files in original DC7 index.dat and yndex.dat although I couldn’t seem to extract yndex.dat so I just copied index.dat and it seemed to work on my Phat and Slim PSPs but I’ll try and fix it. Sorry for the trouble.

Hi,
I were just successfully downgrade from CFW 5.00 M33-4 to CFW 3.71 M33-2…but then a problem occurred..When I try to run the psp tool v0.8 to convert my pandora battery back to normal battery…its showed me that my hardware cannot support eeprom writing…
Whenever I put in my battery, I cannot start my psp at all…I only can start without the battery but with direct plug in of ac adaptor….so I decided to upgrade back to CFW 5.00 M33-6 and I can convert back my pandora battery to normal battery…..Is it because CFW 3.71 M33-2 does not support psp tool v0.8 at all?? Thanks for advise cos I hope can change back to CFW 3.71 M33-4 to play some games
thanks
