PSP Slim Battery cover for old Battery?

The official PSP Slim Battery cover for old PSP-1000 Battery, where is it Sony? That is question on some peoples minds. I know I want too see this new cover for the old larger battery. But again no word from Sony as to when this will be released, they have yet to answer my emails too.
The old battery fits and works, giving more play time aprox 8-10. 1800 Mah Vs 1200Mah. However the standard PSP Slim cover does not fit with the larger battery, which sticks out a bit. Therefore you need a larger replacement battery cover for the PSP Slim / PSP-2000.
Seems Sony has failed to release this with the system, Just like the AV cables.
Anyone know where to find a 3rd party replacement perhaps? Since Sony can’t supply it.
