PSP developer becus25 has released PSP Protection Password v0.4b today. A homebrew application that allows you to add password protection before the PSP is booted. Might come in handle if you want to keep someone from playing your PSP.
What’s new in version v0.4b
If you have a psp 3.40 OE – 3.52 m33 and you don’t generated the password.txt and don’t put it on the same folder of ppp, now there is a ’secret’ password that is 1234 and with this you will can go to the xmb.
If the password.txt is in the same folder of ppp this password won’t be correct, will be correct your password generated.
————————————————————————-
If you have 3.40OE – 3.52 M33 and you use the flashed version of it, replace the eboot.pbp located on flash0:/cfw/boot by this.

There is actually no point using this for Slim 3.71 M33-2 since you cannot autoboot the app on startup?
I’m able to start the app and input the pass 1234 but didn’t find a way for it to start on psp boot.
