OK i charged my PSP for about 20mins and any error i have listed has gone away. My theory is the PSP will desplay 100% battery life until it gets to about 6hours left. I will keep you guys updated

Hi i just got mine. Im using a slim. The battery itself ways 35g which is only 5g heavier than the normal one and the cover ways an extra 5g so your PSP slim will now weigh 200g which is 10g heavier of what it is.

When i got it i put battery in and put on the cover (which is hard to put on but you get the hang of it). Then i turned it on and checked the battery info. It said i had 65% life left and 4hours 30mins left. I am currently charging my batt to see if in fact i do get 24 hours. Also i have found a few errors: When you try to reset the PSP in the vsh menu it wont work, You cant turn off your PSP unless you remove the batt, You cant put the PSP in sleep either.

How does it compare with the battery life in Sony's extended battery? That's what I'm using, Sony's 2200 mAh battery. Sounds like it might be a good idea to pick one of these mammoths up for times when it would be inconvenient or impossible to charge, and what with all the emulators and hacks we use that require the full 333 mhz mode...

I'm in Spain, it took about 5 days I ordered it from Play-Asia.com

By the way I only about about 17 hours aprox. I will try again with low brightness and medium audio lvl (head sets) Could be because the battery needs a few charge and discharge cycles.

So how long you have to wait for the order to arrive from china to US? I ordered it sometimes ago and still in waiting state here.

BTW, it's a HUGE battery, but I'm just like you. I'll be traveling over sea this Christmas and pretty much need this kinda battery power to keep me entertain during long trip

Must be a faulty one? Spencer, there is a chip to control the temp etc to stop overheating. Its a type of battery that's meant to have not memory effect. of course time will tell

It should be safe and its made by a company that at least have a name! No name battery's are often more dodgy as they can't be tracked to the manufacturer
