** Updated version 0.4 released, Fixes the bug before causing the TV streams to fail.

PSP developer Nickxab has release PSP Live TV, a homebrew application derived from PSPTube that lets you play 52 TV stream on your PSP. Worth checking out if your after a bit of the old telly on the go.

########WHAT IS THIS ? ########

This an application that lets you to watch TV in yur psp with the wifi.
It is a modification of the PSPTube that can play some streams.
Now it contains 52 TV streams.

##### INSTALATION ######

Copy the PSP folder in the memory stick root.
Now for the streams.
Open the folder called “streams” that contained in the archieve and you will see
some folders with names from countres.Take the channel(s) you want and put it/them
in the favorites folder in the /PSP/GAME/PSP LIVE TV/ folder.
Also there is a folder called “” that has the streams from the j13dj’s version.

      its called “net tv”, i saw it on the appstore and it only costs 1$
      but, remember that this is a psp page, not an iphone page, im shure there is a lot of forums to ask this about

      All you do is copy the folder (the one that contains the EBOOT and FAVORITES into the GAME folder in the MS. Then go to the folder named STREAMS and there should be a lot of folders with country names, then go into any of those folders and move the files within to the FAVORITES file in the PSP LIVE TV folder. That’s it, then just launch it and any channels you put in the FAVORITES folder will be under the “favorites” section. They all freeze after a few minutes of watching anyway so I wouldn’t recommend this thing to anyone.

    Ok, so I actually got this thing to work, but it SUCKS! out of all the channels, only a few worked at all, but those that do work are foreign and tend to freeze after only a few minutes of watching so I kept rebooting my PSP (3k GEN-B). Anyway I wouldn’t recommend this at all. Don’t even bother trying to make it work.

    I really don’t like to say much about peoples hard work and i respect them. Our community would be nothing with out them but this psp live tv simply doesn’t work. I have read other people having some success but only for a brief moment. Here is an idea: make a rewind option for psp or go tube. (when i watch movies i have to pay strict attention). Also a volume boost some videos aren’t loud enough.

    hi, all is there any way i ccan charge my psp 3000 without charger? i mean i lost my 2 chargers and my batery on 2 psps are dead , damn :/ i have USB cables, but since baterry is dead , i cant charge it, is there any way or any PLUGIN so i could charge it with USB as soon as i connect it to my PC, even if the battery is dead? Please answer, thanks

      i think you can’t do it, there is no way of running a plugin or anything else with a dead battery. but i know you can use any standart 5V – 1500mA charger (ACC-155) with an adapter (if needed). sometimes i use an old charger from a creative zen xtra mp3 player i have. some old nokia cell phone chargers also do the trick.
