PSP Go Hacked. 2 days since its day of release.
Update: FreePlay has just posted a Hello World user mode exploit video of the PSP Go running, “Hello Go” FreePlay’s way of proving to everyone that its not a fake and legit. Check out the video below. The PSP Go is Hacked, while not completely its a start in the right direction. PSP gOwned…lol
FreePlay has posted a very interesting YouTube video (Its embedded below). The PSP Go has been slightly hacked. An exploit has been found in by loading certain hacked save data files, in an unnamed game. Doing so Freeplay managed to run a text file on his PSP Go (A basic hello world) and also dump the PSP Go memory and flash0 to his Memory Stick M2. Flash0 isn’t writeable but flash1 is.
Apparently this is no new exploit, that it has been out there for some time and freeplay has used this to show the world that the PSP Go can be exploited and isn’t as secure as maybe Sony had thought.

Sony always seems to be desperately fighting against the homebrew community, trying to block us out of the systems we spent lots of our own cash on. Sadly, these guys really can’t catch a break. I’ve already managed to update an exploit to work on the Go.

Yes, there are unreleased PSP exploits out there for various games. Yes, they still work, even on the PSP Go.
No, I didn’t discover this exploit. It’s been floating around for a while; it was just never used.
NO, I *DO NOT* plan on sharing any useful details about this. I want to see how long this will fester before Sony finally figures out how to fix it. That means I won’t be sharing the files or even naming the game I used to do it.
Yes, it works on all systems and all firmwares.
No, it’s not going to lead to custom firmware, piracy, or a Pandora for the Go. It can’t write to the flash, and it even seems to be unable to overwrite the system settings, which was always unblocked before on the older systems. It’s user-mode only.
Oh, and if you think this is a hoax… look at the video, and notice the version.txt file from OFW 6.10.

SOMEONE SHOULD REALLY CHECK OUT TO SEE IF FIRMWARE 5.70 IS VUNERABLE TO THE MOHH EXPLOIT.
CAUSE I KNOW THAT SONY PATCHED IT ON 6.00 AND 6.10.
BUT IF ANYONE WAS JUST INTERESTED IN TESTING IT OUT THEY SHOULD TRY IT.
AND U SHOULD REPLY BACK TO SEE IF IT WORKS OR NOT.

question i know where months maybe years from modding the psp go but do u think game sharing as far as sharing ur game folder and license folder with someone will that work say like i have burnout legend if i was to send someone the eboot and license would they be able to play it on there psp go.

dude please understand that they’re doing it for free and we’re only hoping for them to do it.. i too have the same problem but let’s just sit back and wait.. asking too many times becomes annoying and doesn’t really help..

people need to quit whining about 3k, if they cant do it, or wont do it, too bad, stop asking, they’re working as fast as they can/want, you begging for it repeatedly isnt going to help, if you want CFW go find an older model, theres nothing that great about a 3k anyway.
