PSP Go isn’t clocked at 480Mhz, try 333Mhz

PSP Go not 480 Mhz, just the normal 333Mhz

not 480 Mhz, just the normal 333Mhz

Well that didn’t last long now did it, as a SCE rep has pointed out that the reports spreading the web of the CPU being capable of 480Mhz are incorrect. That is the USB bus speed. The will have the same 333Mhz CPU speed as the PSP-1000 to PSP-3000 models. So no special speed boost coming to the . A shame really. Would have been nice to see DaedalusX64 running with an extra 42% more CPU clock speed. Oh well. Maybe in the PSP2 ?

looks like the same old psp but less hackable……
They’re like “look people, we dont bother about adding extra features to the psp, but we need something new(i.e hack-proof). so instead of firmware updates and motherboard changes…. we’ll take the extra step and change the look…..”
sony need to get their priorities right….

They have to have something up their sleeve with that ridiculous price, maybe more integrated gameplay capabilities with the ps3 or something they wouldn’t just charge us out the ass without some good reason. not even the original psp cost this much when it came out, and this is only a re-designed iteration. I’m just sayin…

If it’s at the playstation store you can bet that the GO will play it.

Whats sad is that the people up there (first poster) were gonna buy a $200(+)
PSP Go JUST to play a simple little N64. Ever heard of the PC emulator? Jesus man….
