Sony’s taken a left from Dark_AleX’s save state plug-in it seems. Not doubt looked at his code and copied it. So the PSP Go now has an extra little feature over the other PSP units with its Save State feature. Simply save the exact state of a game and you can later load it up. Just check the above video from Gamespot UK.
Make you want to rush and get a PSP Go come October 1st? Not us…

Is it a hardware feature or a software feature? I mean if we update to the newest firmware the GO uses, would the rest of the PSP’s get this feature as well or just the GO? It doesn’t really make much of a difference though since everyone with a hacked PSP can do it lol

I think its a software feature since the author of this article said that its a CODE.

If it is software Sony might make it PSP Go exclusive for a while. The eventually send it to all PSP’s* via a firmware update. (*excluding the PSP-1000 as it has 32mb less RAM)

yeah they did that with Skype on the 2000 and then later released it on the 1000.

Where does it save the state? Because you’d probably be able to change the state file and make an exploit out of it or something, lol.

lets hope that Dark_Alex would add that save state feature in their next release of m33. that way Sony is screwed, again. lol

can you see it? DAX is slowly giving us hints that his not on the battle field anymore… this time around i suspect a worser scenario..that SONY corp. has pirated our own dax.. paying him for his peace and worse givng his ideas and creations.. this may sound disappointing but i personally think, dax is no longer with us

SONY SUCKS and is such a cash cow this PSP “GO” is what still makes me mad that Sony new that every one wanted the 2nd analog stick but no!!…. that’s y im sticking with my 3000 till they make a psp with a 2nd analog stick along with L2 R2 L3 R3 buttons and more power every one knows that they wont to make one but no they up date it a little at a time till they have all the stuff that people wanted 2 years a go just to keep you coming back for more just wait till Microsoft makes a hand held console i bet you the first thing that you will notices is that it has 2 thumb sticks 4 shoulder buttons and it will probably will be duel screen

History has proven aside from the psp.. all playstation slims are pieces of junk waiting to break down. all my slims broke after a year.. while my original models are still going strong.

OMG my ps2 “slim” just stop working the other day i called sony they said there is nothing they can do since the warranty just went out a week a go that’s very ironic i think but like you said the my friends fat PS2 still works after 4 years

My PS2 Slim has been working fine for around 4 years at least, where as my original PS2 broke after 2 years
