Its out!, Download is below. You’ll Also need UMDGEN 4 for this. Decrypts both Firmware 5.55 games and firmware 6.00 games. But not all of them work due to some headers on the prx files.

hi guyz this tool is here for let you use your original game backup
on CFW 5.50 gen B-2 .

how i can use this tool ?
1 :lets go first you need to install the GameZDecryptZ folder in your X:PSP/GAME folder
2 : put your EBOOT.BIN extracted from UMDGEN PSP_GAME/SYSDIR and put it on root of your memory stick
3 : now you can boot game decrypter now you can press X 5 seconds later it’s done :)
4 : connect your usb cable check on root of your memory stick you have a new folder called decryptor
5 : copy the eboot.bin from the decryptor folder inside umdgen and rebuild your iso

Voilà

PS : not all games working because some games use some fact header on prx files

PSP developer Yoshihiro and the team is working on a PSP Eboot / Game decrypter, that will patch 5.55 firmware games to work on ChickHEN enabled PSP-3000′s running Custom Firmware 5.03 GEN-A and also PSP-1000′s and PSP-2000′s on to B2.

But what we can gather it will be used in conjunction with UMDGen 4, so experience of UMDGEN is required.

The above screenshot is apparent proof of MotorStorm: Arctic Edge running on 5.03 GEN on a PSP-3000 and PSP-2000 TA-088v3. Yes, to all you PSP-3000 users. Its for the PSP-3000 too. No need to keep asking for a solution as it’s coming!. But for those of you that can run & CFW 5.03 GEN-A and haven’t upgraded past firmware 5.03.

If you have Firmware 5.50 on your PSP-3000 your out of luck I’m afraid.

Remember this application is only for patching games you legally own. A UMD copy you wish to run from your Memory Stick Pro Duo for example. NOT for running illegally downloaded ISO / CSO files. PSP Slim Hacks owns all their ISO games in UMD format and so should you!

    Ok. MY PSP 2004 SLIME 5.0M33 CFW..:dThis is my project.:D 1. I got eboot.bin file with deamon tools help from G.I rise of cobra game.2.I instaled descryptor into my psp/game folder and eboot file i added into my memory stick root.3.Sucessfull descrypted it and i got right custom eboot.bin file.4.i copyed all files from G.I iso file on my deckstop and writed into dvd disc.5.with magicISO help i got iso file with custom eboot.6.i installed it on my :/x/iso folder on Mcard.7.Run it and it doesn’t work.Why?     I did it!!!! finally i can play gran turismo!!!! I havn’t tried on the other psp games, but i will do this later and report it. I hope that SONY just ignore about this potential new threat, and let us have fun for a while. Really we have waited so long for a realease of a new cfw but nothing happened until now, thanks yoshihiro!!

        erikk, I have psp 3001 with 5.05 and CFW 3.6 and I have been trying to GT and Persona to work for close to 3 hours. Sadly, nothing. I think in mid October there is going to be an actual CFW for our kind (PSP 3000).

        I just checked and almost everyone that it seems to work with is 5.50 Gen. If you don’t have that then I guess we are S.O.L. Be patient pal. I’m sure in October we will be able to play.

    hmm… i waited so long for this GT and then knowing it was needed cwf 6 just shited to it, and now apear this think hope had come up… is a bit hard :(

      I understand man. I was that way with Persona 2. But, no use in being upset. The other option is buy a used PSP Phat and install CFW so you can play it! Although for some us, money is an issue!

      u probably used the eur version you have to use the usa version it works perfect i had the same problem with the eur version

    Okay, just asked around in the PSPGen.com forums. Even though I posted in English, the guys were pretty polite. I didn’t know there was an English section in their forums. xD

    Anyway, here is an updated list of compatible games according to PSPGen forums. Most of the games would only work with 5.50Gen after decrypting. So not luck for us 5.03 Gen-A PSP3000 users, again. T.T

    Damn it, wanted to play Persona so bad, but can’t upgrade my ofw to play it.

    The “*” means using the file list export/import in umdgen.

    true all games dont work. tried dirt2 but no luck but gi joe worked awesome… works on 5.00m33-6, cfwenabler 3.5 on psp 2004 v2

      My friend, ur not the only … i could run soulcalibur without problem on my 5.0 m33-6 and they said that it would work >.< but after that… didnt tried any others…

      i personally like cso, as they take up less room on memory stick. a small handfull of games seem to not like cso format though, and work better as an iso. i always try it first as a cso.

    So far the comments mentioning it’s for PSP 300 running CFW 5.03 GEN-A, does it work for those running on Custom Firmware Enabler 3.60 ? I have tried but it doesn’t seems to work

        I thought I saw someone say this was a regional problem? They were having problems running a euro version but when they got a new US version it worked. Scan the whole thread form today and you’ll find it.

    just checked pspgen and version b2 is out. looks like most games will now work with 5.50 genb. not much seems to have changed for 5.03 gen a. before anyone complains about this, you yourself should learn how to create a program that will do this.

    So, just cause I’m a little confused. I’ve seen a few posts saying it works with 5.00 M33x. And now I’m wondering if my phatty 100x with 5.00m33-6 would be able to use this. I only use m33 right now because I trust it, and its pretty stable. I wanna know if I could use this to get disgaea 2 running as a cso, because my disc drive is pretty much shot (30 minute load times do not please me). But I also need to know if I need to get GEN cfw or if there’s anything else I need, so if anyone knows, I’d much appreciate it.

      theres really nothin wrong with gen b i used to be the same way i didnt wanna loose my m33 lol but this one has been loyal to me i say update to 5.50 gen b you wont regret it plus you get to play new games

    marvel ultimate aliance (us) now works
    grand turismo (us) still does not

    Is there a way i can play madden 10 on a a psp 3k . i tried to decrypt the e-boot but it said that the eboot cannot be decrypted.I got Gi joe andmoter storm arctic edge but madden wont work any ideas???

    Only tried beaterator on PSP 3000 5.03 gen-a (full) and doesnt work :(
    Stuck at a black screen when trying to initially load to title. Will try other games to see if they work on PSP 3000.

    I hope this isn’t Too stupid a question, but does this mean the Peace Walker Demo could be played on 3000′s? Like, if the EBOOT was just placed in the root, decrypted, then placed back in the game folder?

      not a stupid question at all. peace walker demo already works with 5.50 gen b, no modification needed. if have not tried yet with 5.03 gen-a. thats a good question, maybe i will try. if you try tell us what you find out.

    Can I just turn off the psp, load up ChickHEN R2 and flash 5.03 gen-A on it?

      You can actually just run Gen A even if 5.03 m33 is currently applied, I was wondering that earlier and tried it. Works fine, your system info will say 5.03 gen-a (full). Just make sure you do it properly! :)

      wait wut? if anything this enables you to pirate.. how does this make it so you wont pirate anymore? it would have been easier to have just bought GT and motorstorm to begin with, and just downgraded when you were done playing them.

        not everyone uses cfw to pirate. some of us use it so we can put many of our own umds on a memory stick out of convienance.

        sony already knows the convienance in beinge able to have all of your games on memory stick (instead of umd) thats why they have the psp go.

        problem is that we all already have our psps, dont want to spend $250 for another psp.
        sony could fpatch this problem by letting us all rip our existing umds and registering them only to our psps. less piracy.

        that would make users and retailers happy. technology is already there, sony just cares more about getting our $250 and cutting the middle man (retailers) profit in order to pad theirs.

        I did buy games, I swear. Then when Soul Caluiber broken destiny came out, I knew it wouldn’t work, so well… but anyway, I will buy all my future games if this keeps working. I am certianly not switching back to official firmware just to play new games.

    i got my Gran Turismo, motor storm, naruto shippuden, persona to work in my 5.50 GEN-B2 with the help of this utility. and btw, there’s already a Game Decryptor V2.
    use your own UMD’s, i used mine to avoid piracy.

      The black screen, for me, is when the tries to start but it hangs before anything even appears… Kind of like a limbo between not working and working. Do you get an error or is that what happens for you too?

    The update mentions the team is WORKING on it. It’s coming, it’s not here yet. Though I can’t explain the screenshot. I don’t think 3000 users will be using this decrypter. I hope i didn’t read this wrong…though if someone did get any games working I’d like to know how…>_<

      you must upgrade to 5.03 GEN or 5.50 GEN (make sure your PSP is hackable before upgrading!!!) then you can use these homebrew, just follow the instruction from the downloaded files. watch my video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GZPIaklvdYc

      some ganes require more steps than to change the eboot.bin.

      you still need to do the export and import thing.

    i think its baout time people quit kidding themselves; i’m almost sure that no one on here simply uses isos to ‘back thier umds up.’ they use isos so they dont have to shell out their precious money to buy their vedeogames. i’m not attacking anyone’s opinions, yes it is very wrong to do that, but people just knowing they can get any game they want for free is far too temting to just back-up your already owned games. also, is gran turismo working at all with this?

      GT has been working on my 2K PSP with Gen-B2 since last night, when the first version of this software was released. Has to be a US version of the game, and I believe it uses the Sony driver, if not.. M33.. either way, it DOES work… flawlessly. If your UMD mode gives you a black screen, switch it to the other one, and it will load properly.
