French team PSPGen allegedly have some info on PSP firmware 5.00, we’ll call this a rumor for now. But apparently PSP firmware 5.0 will bring direct PSN access and a new RSS reader capable of reading of text articles. (the current version is limited to viewing audio, videos and images)
So where is this info coming from? Well PSPGen’s team have a development version of the PSP firmware used for testing tool units. So its not public firmware but a possible future 5.00 firmware.

Those are some good updates though. If we get even those I’ll be satisfied, knowing that Sony could have done much worse.
