Some good news, that is if someone can make a working exploit from it. You remember the Medal of Honor: Heroes exploit that surfaced a few months ago? Well it works on firmware 5.55 it seems. This is the newest firmware that many of the new releases require in order to run. Games like G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra. The video above shows PSP Firmware 5.55 is still vulnerable to the exploit.

No you can’t at this stage. We need someone to make a working exploit from this before you can to anything. Stay on 5.50 Fw for now and wait to see if something happens.

Aye it hasn’t been updated for a while I will look into it. But it was basically created for just the PSP-3000.

I don’t think that the exploit can do anything.
Even this is not yet patched, Sony or EA can simply close down the server for the game, or do something to the server if the patch really does something.

On the exploit, it says Run BIN File. What would happen if you used the h.bin file from Davee’s ChickHEN R2? It would need to be modified to be used on OFW 5.55, but other than that, do you think it would be a start?

this is a start, but i think that you must also do something with the tiff image as well as the h.bin file
i’ve read something in the info.txt that is supplied with the v2 and it says”if you want to run a program after exploiting, use this folder”
does it already have a hen?

no matter what sony or ea do theres a version of the exploit that doesn’t require the use of their game servers or wifi and this firmware is already made so nothing sony can do either but patch the one after 5.55. . .

this may sound crazy, but is there a homebrew or exploit that can dual boot(like have vista and windows xp on one system) the psp between maybe a ofw and custom firmware. cant even get the stuff i bought of the psn store for my games. or is there a way to at least access the psn store on a lower cfw?
btw i have psp 3000 running chickhen with 5.03 gen

I THINK I JUST CREATED A HACK FOR THE PSP 3000. WHAT IT IS SUPPOSED TO DO IS BOOT YOUR PSP INTO CHICKEN R2. I THINK THIS HACK WILL WORK ON FIRMWARES UP TO 5.51. BUT YOU MUST MEDAL OF HONOR: HEROES FOR THIS TO WORK. ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS DOWNLOAD THIS FILE
