Not the best of emulators. This emulator is pretty glitchy, and the sound is mediocre. I expected more in a SNES emulator.

i cant get any cheats at all to work on this raw or gamegenie or pro action all dont work :/
how i get em to work and i know these cheats work aslo hacked em my self but the psp emulator wont work with em it shows no effect how i fix that

Love the emulator so far but I seem to be having a problem, the rom works fine when I play it, but once I put on the translation patch it doesnt want to load, and when I load a save state it glitches. Its not a spelling problem cause I copy pasted the rom name to the patch, I also tried Pasting the patch name to the rom as an alternative, neither work, what should I do? I read the loading things *had to do it several times to read everything on it cause it goes so fast* but it reads the patch but after that window it give me the ‘bad checksum’ thing. Please help, the game is Gundam Wing Endless Duel and this is the link to the patch, Thanks!

hello every one im here to help anyone with this. 1st off the bat you wil need these things to run this
-psp with CFW(custom firmware
- the emulator
-a rom ( mine ocme from these sites

now lets do this chronologically, first off if you hava psp of anykind your half there
now you need CFW (custom firmware)now some will say sometings othere will say others. just fallow this video for a really easy way to get CFW

ok lets assume you have got that all done with your spanking brand new psp with CFW.
now you have a psp with a memory stick and you want to play SMrpg well heres wheere you put all of this. download…k got that. put it in
game 1.50
with that out of the way got down load a rom and play it
i swear if anything is wrong playing the game its the rom not the emulator. Btw i have 4.01 CFW so yes
now lets say u ignore the first step(bad choice)
YOU WILL GET AN ERROR LIKE THIS “800…” i can remember all of it but its something liek that. now dont be alarmed…just do the first step and your good

my firmware is 4.21 what emulator do i use and what roms its a psp slim and if i have to downgrade it it wont hurt the system will it cause I would still like to play my games and watch my umd movies on it

When you use a Pandora Batterie you basically downgrade back to Firmware 1.50 so when you upgrade with Custom Firmware you still have you basic psp, you can just do a little more with it!

ok i may sound noobish but i need to know…
i let someone put in cfw in my psp to eventualy play emulators…
now my version says i have m33 5.00 in. but no emulator will work… my version too high ? or did the dude just dint know what he was doing? should i downgrade ?
ive tryed Snesx9 which loads up the psp logo then crashes..
NesterJ and Znes show up as corrupted data.
any help asap would be very apreaciated…

well……O.K. theirs no real way to make a Pandora Battery your self that i know of but hears the site to buy one http://www.pandorasales.com and for a Magic Memory Stick you can down load a program called PSP Pandora Deluxe at http://psp.brewology.com i for get the newest version and get the cfw you think you need for the program at ever homebrew site or go to http://www.dark-alex.org for it but pandora also sales the mm-sticks preloaded if you want their you go if it’s not some you know or trust dont let thim mess with your system with people backing thim up saying that thay know what ther doing *DONT WANT TO BRICK YOUR PSP*

Hey i’m trying to play Chrono Trigger and it works but its laggy. I did the frame skip thing but its still a little messed up-when text comes up, it flashes and then comes back. kinda glitchy. anyone know how to solve my problem?

Ok well some one didnt understand my post ok. Im easy on noobs/ beginners at this. ok you have your psp (without CFW) and you want these games. you put hte emu on not knowing what will happen. you get the error code 800201. You go to forums asking wat the hell 800201 is supposed to mean; your answer is “you dont have CFW”. You search this up and find some answers. but you dont know how to get it. So you go and you makea pandoras battery. how do you make this. you need a bettery and a memstick. you format the memstick with however way you want and you cut a pin on the battery (go look it up). after that you insert the memstick and the battery and you have CFW congrats you can play emulators. Now putting the eulator in is a new tale. you need to get the emu go to a rom site ( which i posted a few posts above) and you put it in the roms folder. in the emu which you have unzipped. you out all of this into the
game 150 folder…clear? OK well hopefully you can get the rest just go search for a bit.

one final thing. I have firmware 5.00m33 and went i play games on my psp the screen just dies the buttons and the sound work fine its just the screen blanks out and is dead…help if possible.

after reading all post before asking a question thats already been answered maybe even mutiple times, i didnt find my question answered, but i did maybe see it asked. my sound doesnt work so im not sure if my problem may be relating to mystery mans, but after loading the snes emulator, it just freezes up and nothing happens. altho hes saying buttons still work, mine do not as i cant even turn it off after that point without popping out the battery. i just put on 5.00 to also be able to play psx. glyth u didnt mention if this could or couldnt be played on 5.00 u just said not to so if you could clarify your answer that might help….

Why do some roms run so dam slow? (looking at Kirby all stars and Donkey Kong country) Is their a way to fix it by the emu menu? Or are they bad dumps? I need to know? and thanks for the grate site and downloads!!

They are slow for me too.I tried Mega Man,Mario Kart,Starwing.They are all so slow,that they are unplayable.I think it is the emulator because i can pay all this games on my phone.

I too found it rather slow on certain games – ironically my DS provides a better SNES emulation experience, and yet the PSP has the more powerful hardware.

also, since its an emulator it really cant be expected to work perfectly…. changing how many frames it skips shud speed up most games but it makes it less sightly…. its not odd to me that the DS would emulate its elder better, but the psp is never really running at its full potential ~shrugs~ thanks for the download tho

This definitely struggles w/ newer and Mode 7-heavy games – glad I bought Chrono Trigger DS – so I hope development is ongoing with this. But it does a decent enough job w/ older stuff like SMW and Final Fantasy 4.

I have “SNES9x TYL 0.4.2me” and it has ran fine. I upgraded to 5.00 m33-6 today and for some reason, only the SNES emu won’t work. Daedalus and NJester work fine. Homebrew kernal is set to 1.50. Is it just me?

Incompatibility with your slim by the sounds of it, u trying to get old saves to work? Windows snes9x saves perhaps?

no, i created saves using the psp,when i hook up the psp to the pc i see the files.But when the psp loads the rom it loads but all choices are blank in load save game screens.

Short answer: No.
Long answer: Maybe, but not now.
Longer answer: Not yet. Sony’s been trying to make the PSP unhackable since the homebrew movement, and since the TA-088v3 type motherboard was developed, they’ve been successful. There is a sort of encryption in the service mode that was cracked for everything up to the TA-088v3, but since then no one has managed to successfully get to service mode without modifying the PSP’s hardware. Datel claimed to and even tried to market it, but that fell through and they got sued.
The only homebrew that people have managed to get running on the PSP-3000 is through an exploit in the game Gripshift, but if you’re running the latest official firmware, the exploit won’t work. So really, if you have a PSP-3000, you don’t have a lot of options as far as homebrew goes.

Hey did anyone else notice that when using this with netplay on a PSP 3000 5.03 HEN it just freezes at connecting and have to hard restart. I noticed this only happens with the snes9xTYL 0.4.2 ME version and not the earlier one (snes9xTYL 0.4.2). Possibly a bug or something.

I have same problem with my PSP-3000, I can’t play any game on Netplay mode…. except Captain Commando, For only ONE Time we could load game but my Screen was black, but in other psp everything was normal…

If you delete SNES9X off your memory stick you lose all of your saved states. So when you put it back on it’s like “starting over with a new save” kinda sucks huh!
