Latest DaedalusX64 Update. Many improvements and enhancements over the DaedalusX64 Beta 1. Enhanced Media Engine and built-in speed hack detection.

Developers note:
Upgrade Procedure: Grab the link and unzip it. Delete all *.hle files(in SaveGames) as well as preferences.ini and rom.db from your memory stick. These files (*.hle, rom.db, and preferences.ini) are rebuilt when you use the software and are version specific. Then you can copy it to your current folder on your PSP and overwrite all the old files. Now you are guaranteed to be starting fresh.

Guys I was browsing the web and I came across this site – alot of users have been having the same problem as me with the Assert Failed malarkey when trying to run R14, I couldnt get R13 to run but I do have an answer daedalusX64 I know its only a beta version but trust me guys the game worked perfect on it (Mario kart 64) without the blue screen and assert failure error which was driving me nuts.
Also im running 5.00 m33 for whoever said this doesn’t work on cfw 5.00

i have a phat psp and i have cfw, do i need a pandora battery for the phat? and do i need to downgrade as well for the emulator to work. See it starts up but then it cant load the emulator i’m only trying to load Majora’s mask too.

depends on wut firmware u got i think if its 2.7 and below u can downgrade without pandora any higher u need pandora

Like I said before not all games are supported yet.
The emulator goes in the GAME folder
For installing the Emulator there is instructions in the comment above by me.
If the file is corrupted please make sure the eboot in the folder is the there if not then re-download.

i have firmware version 4.01 M33-2, but for some reason, when i download the emulator, it says the data is corrupted.
Here are the steps I took.
-click download now-
-extract files-
-move extracted folder to PSP/GAME-
am I downloading it wrong?

Alright, I figured it out, I went into the extracted folder, there were two folders there, one was the emulator, the other was something else. I took only the emulator folder (i think it was called daedalus 14) and put it in my psps game folder, now it works fine.

I have 5.00 version and m-334 i downloaded daedalus 14, and still does not want to download. I left it on 1.50 kernal but still nothing it just shows up as corrupted

I have lots of problems with the emulator: nothing works. Period. I’ve tried the following games:
Legend of Zelda Ocarina
Legend of Zelda Majora
Starfox 64
Neon Genesis Evangelion (REALLY WISH IT WORKED!)
Does anybody have any recommended emulator settings/etc?

Bob meant that the emu works fine, not that it works as fast as an n64, that it will never do kido… this has always worked for me also on phat, check your light versions and make sure you have a CFW in the first place ppl lol

you guys should try DaedalusX64 Public Beta 1 it’s N64 emulator made by same guys and it’s never from this they just changed the name, it can be found from this web site from “PSP Slim Emulators” and soon there will be DaedalusX64 Public Beta 2 coming out! i cant wait! Mario works almost perfestly on that!

Guys, I really need help! I downloaded the emulator from here and i installed it in the game150 folder in my psp. I put 3 roms in the rom folder and when i went to go play them on my psp it wouldn’t start. I have psp slim with 5.00 m33-6 cfw. What did i do wrong?! Plaese Help me!!

Ok so i want to buy a psp and download this emulator and i’m not the one who’s good with looking through computer files so i want to make it as simple as possible
1.what kind of psp should i buy? one of the older ones if i don’t want to go through a bunch of downgrading crap?
2. do i take just n64 computer mods and put them in the psp emulator files or does this and other websites have certain ones
3. easy instructions to actually placing it on the psp
I will still be looking around and probably figure some of this out but it would be nice if you guys would help or send a link with the instructions… ill check youtube as well

I dont know if anybody reads this who can do something about it but PLEASE make it possible to play the Zelda games in full speed the improvement to the R15 has been really very good but still its still very slow and makes it unplayable. Its very close though to be playable i give it 75% but come on go go for the last bit to have an awesome emulator ! Thank you soo much for your work big time REP for your work u guys rule and are near the end ! I hope BETA 3 will make zelda more playable !!! Love you guys. Peace.

I think this has got allot better than the older version. It works a bit faster and has less slowdown. It could be full speed but this is better than R11

ROMs go to: X:/N64 (If you don’t have the folder make one, ‘X’ is the drive letter of your psp, mine is ‘E’)
Daedalus goes to: X:/PSP/GAME

It seems to work ok! …. but not all the roms work! So far the only roms i can get to work are 007 Golden Eye, Super Mario 64, Smash Bros, Banjo Kazooie, Duke Nukem – Zero Mission, Spider Man, and Monopoly. Alot of others either lag BIG TIME or dont work period and i get a blank screen. Some work with difficulty and take a long time to load. Someone please update/ Fix or Make this emulator run better i got heaps of roms but only 40% work. http://www.coolroms.com
