Game Boy Advance (GBA) Emulator for PSP | GBA Emulation on the PSP Slim | UO gpsp kai 3.4 test 1 build 2
UO gpsp kai 3.4 test 1 build 2
Gameboy Advance Emulator for the PSP Slim. By far this is the best GBA emulator out there, I’ve tested this myself as it runs very fast, perfect sound and the emulation is pretty much 100%. Now features full screen TV Output on the PSP Slim.
This version is for the PSP Slim and supports the full 64mb of RAM available on the PSP Slim. Tested on Custom Firmware 5.00 M33-6
(GBA Emulator: UO gpsp kai 3.4 test 1 build 2 - 1.0 MiB - 55,829 Hits)
Full Credit to eXophase the GBA emulator master and Takka for his recent work on gpSP.
This video shows how just well the GBA Emulator runs 007 Nightfire (Previously thought to never run fast on the PSP).
Final Fantasy 4 runs at 60 fps…
- These downloads do not included include ROM files or GBA_BIOS.BIN, you must legally acquire the ROM and GBA Bios files yourself.

January 18, 2009 at 10:47 am
hi does it have all of those games in it or, would have to download them seperatly?????
January 28, 2009 at 12:19 am
Do you have to have a custom firmware to get this to work?
January 28, 2009 at 10:19 pm
doesnt work omg waste of ma time
January 29, 2009 at 11:24 pm
i think you must break your psp to use that and if you can’t do it first read about the thing before you make the download. thks
February 10, 2009 at 9:23 pm
Break? Hack you mean…
March 14, 2009 at 7:17 pm
break it’s the same thing as downgrade ….
uh for example you have software 4.0 if you make downgrade you will have 3.30 or lower.
January 31, 2009 at 11:47 am
actually it works great…. if you know what you are doing…. which you guys apparently don’t
January 31, 2009 at 11:21 pm
well then how do u use it?
February 10, 2009 at 3:57 am
Maybe try RTFM, or not failing at life in general?
January 31, 2009 at 11:18 pm
this thing doesnt even work u ppl.its stupid i mean every time i exit usb mode it gets deleted
February 4, 2009 at 2:30 pm
wow snow you are stupid you dont even have custom firmware do you? for this to work you need to go to psp/game and put the folder there and only with a custom firmware will it show up if you dont have it it wont run because you are a fag with official firmware
February 6, 2009 at 6:16 am
Just copy the folder in the zip to the game folder or the game150 folder, grab an iso and stick it in the same folder then start the emu in the XMB!?
Simple u simple ppl, altho does sound like most of you r not using custom firmware lol
February 6, 2009 at 6:17 am
files get deleted when u exit usb mode?! your memory card is corrupt. reformat.
February 6, 2009 at 11:09 pm
It works if you know what files to copy and have a hacked psp, but what gets me made is the emulator doesn’t have everything you need. You need a bio for it and I just don’t want to waste my time searching the web for it.
February 9, 2009 at 2:35 am
thanks dude it worked great no probs
(life is great when you know what your doing)
February 9, 2009 at 7:12 am
ok this is what i did and you can do. First YOU NEED CUSTOM FIRMWARE ( if you dont know what it is google it). 1 download 2. put the UO_gpSP_kai on to psp>games. And i know ppl is asking about the bios i downloaded another emulater from megaup loader ( that one did not work but it had a working bios so just get it from that) and finaaly put the roms In the roms file ( TRUST ME IT WORKS THE PPL WHO ARE SAYING IT DOSENT WORK DONT KNOW HOW TO USE IT AND PROBALLY DONT HAVE CUSTOM FIRMWARE
February 9, 2009 at 3:26 pm
yep its work but you follow exakly the ruuls
February 9, 2009 at 6:35 pm
WHERE can i download 3.71-M33
February 10, 2009 at 3:59 am
This works great. No problems on 5.02GENA.
February 12, 2009 at 3:20 am
This is one great emulator, I had an old version of GbSP but this one trumps it by far! AND A NOTE! READ THE TEXT ON SCREEN!
Look around for the bios file on good old google (hint, google the old computer) and rename it GBA_BIOS.BIN and put it in the same folder as the EBOOT, or it wont work!
February 12, 2009 at 3:22 am
Lol my bad, google elsewhere.
February 14, 2009 at 6:25 pm
How to put gameshark codes in that?\
Please anwser me
February 15, 2009 at 12:41 am
you need to download roms from the internet an put them in the rom folder as a zip format otherwise it wont work!!!!
February 18, 2009 at 1:49 am
Well, it’s corrupt I can tell you that. Or at least that’s how it came up on my psp. I have the most recent firmware and I did it right so I don’t know, but that’s alright.
February 23, 2009 at 7:35 am
omg it worked..
i was just about to ask where shld I place my gba files..
March 1, 2009 at 12:47 pm
in the folder GBA/ROM
February 23, 2009 at 10:38 pm
where do i put the emulator and games because i made a game folder put it in and i have the emulator but it will not show on my psp
February 24, 2009 at 12:53 am
uh guys this only works for 3.71 cfm i had it once, it worked, then i updated my cfm it didnt work anymore but im not sure if im right
February 27, 2009 at 7:35 pm
This has been tested on 5.00 M33-4
THIS WILL ONLY WORK ON CFW, if you have not modded your PSP this will not work.. do not even try. your at pspslimhacks.com do you really think anything here would work on OFW?
Anyways, BIOS can be found at http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/3721638/GBA_BIOS.ROM
Here is step by step instructions
1.) go to UO_gpSP_Kai_32_test_07\ms0\PSP\GAME\ and copy the UO_gpSP_kai folder to the \PSP\GAME\ folder on your PSP/
2.) Put GBA_BIOS.BIN in the UO_gpSP_kai folder on your PSP.
3) download roms from somewhere like http://www.emuparadise.org and put the unzipped roms (.gba) into UO_gp_SP_kai\GBA\ROM
load up emulator, controls are kinda backwords: Circle=A Cross=B Square=framerate Triangle/Start=Start Select=Select not sure if these can be changed around.
Keep in mind that not all .gba roms will be supported by this emulator, there is a file within UO_gpSP_kai called game_config.txt that lists configs for a few games, not sure if anything more then those will work.
Tested with Pokemon Emerald on Dark Alex’s 5.00 M33-4 CFW

from root of mem. stick, go to:
PSP > GAME > [game folder] (if it dont have any game folder, make a folder and name it watever u want. recommended to title it GBA for easy identification.)
April 12, 2009 at 10:23 pm
slt comment maitre le gba sur psp silvous plait
merci
April 16, 2009 at 3:15 pm
O.K. guys the problem some of you may be experiencing is that this homebrew (like many others) only works on 1.50 OFW or CFW 3.60 with the 1.50 Kernel installed (PSP 1000 series only). so if you’re looking for a gba EMU for PSP give up now or code your own.
