To Fliger:

Hey, dude. As far as I know, yes you have to hack your psp to run any homebrew programs on it. Unless it is a Slim or older, you are able to do it, or better (for a slim) to ask somebody experienced to do it for you. Don't worry, your UMD games still will work properly (mine UMDs works at least...). But you have to look after the possibilities of the hacked opsys (use net, and forums to find more).
For the version of Vice c64 I posted above, you just have to unpack it to your PSP\GAME150 directory (with EBOOT.PBP in the pspvice main directory, but that's evident...), and just copy as many t64, d64 etc C64 ROM files into a game or such directory as you want. There are plenty of homepages (for example http://www.lemon64.com/) with C64 roms on the internet.
About how to use it: it's so simple, you can figure it out. As the good old C64 screen begins, just press SELECT for the menu, and for the virtual keyboard press TRIANGLE (in mid-game too when needed) and from that all easy-peasy.
So, consider what I wrote. I think it's so worth it, I ask somebody to hack my slim just for the C64 emu, I soooo love that era. Beside that I have many other olditimer emulators (like arcade, amiga, etc.), and DooM 1-2 too. :)

I hope it useful for you.

All the best!

Hello again.

Because I couldn't live like that, I dig up the net for solution. I found a German site, where I could download a version of Vice wich run on my PSP. Here is the link:

http://www.pspsource.de/download.php?view.2331

Roll down the page, till you find the "Emulatoren" and below "PSPVice v1.1". Click on the blue arrow, download and enjoy. I hope this help people with the same problem.

Bye all.

Hello.

I have a PSP slim, with 3.90 m33 firmware. I just can't make this version (or any other) to work. I tried with 1.50 and 3.90 kernel, and all the variations of copy the contents to the GAME, GAME150 and GAME380 directories. Nothing helped it. :( I'm a fan of old C64 games, and I just can't have them on my PSP. That's unbearable. Can anybody help me (and other slim with 3.90 m33 owners :))? Do not say to downgrade to 3.71 m33, Patapon needs 3.90 m33. :) I hope there is a way.

Thanks for listening.

Bye all.
