PSP Custom Firmware 6.XX PRO-B10 Fix

Hrimfaxi has posted an fix over on the Custom Firmware PRO googlecodes website. Its said to fix the fixed buffer overflow bug. Now I haven’t heard of anyone having this issue or any bricks etc. Maybe its rare, nevertheless if your running PRO-B10 or doing to install it then grab this fix. This is for models that are fully hackable. Your PSP-1000′s and PSP-2000′s before the TA-088v3 motherboards. If your on a PSP-3000 or Go you don’t have to worry about this.

Depending on which firmware your running or want to run download the below fix.

  Upgrade your system to 6.20 OFW or 6.60 OFW and apply the appropriate Pro Update.

My Update..

1) Download patch version 6.602) Put the file into [PSP/GAME/UPDATE]
3) Launch the update from the game section (In PSP)4) Version 6.60 successfully patched.
5) Download CFW Pro B-10 {Fixed]
6) Put the files into [PSP/GAME]
7) Launch the CFW Updater.
8) Click (X) to install CFW.
9) Successfully installed CFW 6.60 Pro B-10!

    maybe your psp does not reboot anymore you need to be upgraded at 6.60 version if does not accept upgrade like mine may be your psp need upgrade or your memory is about to 100 MB or 200 MB it must be up to 1159 mb for 4 gb

  dude..my problem is i had official 6.39 firmware and extract all the archive content in my psp..so the problem is after i load the update and follow the step still my psp goes blank after reboot..i had to manually on/off the psp..so what is wrong?i follow ur step still not turn the firmware 2 b-10..help please

Im new to this hacking thing. I have a 3000 ver. 6.30
Ive beaten my Kingdom Hearts BBS on critical and now want to hack the hell out of it.
Ive tried downloading the custom firmware of different versions and all sorts of other junk but nothings working.. If anyone has any ideas or tips or something please email me at [email protected]

  yeah you can install your pspgo make sure ur cfw 5.50 ofw then download 6.60 ofw and update after install your now 6.60 offical you can upgrade to 6.60 pro b10….

I have the 6.20 pro-b10 with the permanent patch for the psp-3000 and Im having a problem where skype wont sign in and when I close it it freezes and shuts down. This was suppose to be fixed in pro b-4 so idk why this is acting like this.

  either pspshare.org or ffinsider.net/psp-iso to play games and to play use winrar to extact it. the create a folder name ISO when u first open the psp then place the game in iso and then play games

Im running a Go, Ive read everything on this page… attempted to copy the CFW to [psp>game>update] zipped as well as unpacked and came up with “corrupt data”. I even took the “update” part out of it and did both zipped and unzipped and found nothing when I went out of usb mode. Im at a brick wall here… please help

Hi i have a psp e1004 and i have ofw 6.00 and i installed pro-b10 and i want to make it permenant but when i start the cipl flasher it (has the sony logo then it) says “this installer does not support this modle” and i tried this fix and nothing works can i fix this and how???? pls help urgently!!!!

i have a psp 1001 and i want it to be able to play iso, its on 6.60

Whenever I go to the settings in the psp, I crash and would have to use fast recovery. I have a 2g psp 2000. I installed the 6.35 pro 10 version, crashed. Then I installed ofw 6.60 and tried the 6.60 pro 10 version, still crashed. I tried to play games,but nothing. It would go back to its normal(meaning 6.35),the settings would work then. Help would be appreciated.

DO NOT UPDATE if you use a photofast cr-5400 memory card!!! ISOs and homebrew WILL NOT WORK if you don’t use an official memory stick pro. Only PS1 games will boot. I have no pandora battery and can’t reverse this but other users have been reporting problems as well across the web.

for the ps2 games. For the ps1 games i did a convert to .pbp with
psx2psp program and then put it in the psp/games area, And all i get is a
black screen, i even tried leaving it for a couple of mins to see if it
will boot; nothing. i have tried everything but downgrading it and
wanting to avoid that. I do have the seplugins folder in there. I have
tried formatting it and re putting it in there. Does it make a
difference with what SD card it is? Bc i have a sandisk micro HC but i
have the memory stick duo adapter for it.

tl:dr i cant play ps1 or ps2 games and does it matter what card it is ie does it have to be magicgate for it to work?

  Some ps1 games won’t work on psp.. Please be advised. Search on google for psx compatibility.

alright, so my psp has version 6.60, is a 3000 and the custom firmware is pro-b9. everything works EXCEPT for the permanent installation which says it “wont work for this model”. would this pro-b10 update work (permanently?)
