gabe, download time machine and it makes a majic mem stick without needing a computer and command prompt. it uses a file that makes it all work. try it out… DC V.5 and TM V.1. once instaled, you need to set a button to use. this button is used when you need pandora menu. other wise it goes strait to xmb. very usefull. ps just helping not trying to make enimies.

gabe, u can use your own batery and use it as both a pandora and a normal one. like i said it will boot into xmb always unless you set a button and hold it for pandora. u dont need to buy one. the timemachine or dc v.5 makes one.

It sounds like Gabe is only a child that shouldn’t be playing around with such things as a PSP system. Judging by the over-use of swearing to get the point across, he doesn’t like to be told to make it himself.

To all: You only need to open the battery with a slim.
Using the “re-programming the battery” method will destroy the slim battery. However, a slim pandora battery will also work in the phat.
I just suggest getting the replacement original slim battery and modding it, this method only requires one psp, not two!

@Mangakid: Your take on “re-programming the battery” in regards to a Slim battery is false. I have a soft-modded PSP Slim battery, using the Pandora IPL, and I have never had a problem with it. Also, since when are you abel to use a Slim battery in a Fat PSP? The thing does not even fit, however a Fat battery does work in a Slim PSP. Maybe you have the two confused?

I have read that the slim battery works in a phat and that the slim battery can’t be soft modded. It is good that you have corrected this, thanks.

    To poor:
Hard modded batteries cannot be converted back by any software. If you pulled the pin out, you must soldier it back in.

    Hey Gabe:
I didn’t say that it couldn’t be done. I said that a hard-modded battery couldn’t be soft-modded back to the original state.

“Brad wtf you need a magic mem stick & a pandora battery 2 downgrade & install cfw so shut the fuck up asshole your the retard”

You think you are better than everyone else. You didn’t correct Brad, you assaulted him. If you didn’t think that you were better you wouldn’t have said (In different words): I completed ROTC so you can’t say anything against me. So? Completing ROTC just says you are more physically fit than other people, not more intelligent. So, no you wont get my lick of sense, because you just don’t deserve it.

P.S. Judging by how you kept asking how to make the battery, you can’t say anything about me saying about it, because I have actually successfully made one.

    To dan:
If you can find the Ultimate Pandora Kit, it has pictures of the mod-able batteries and how to hard-mod them. It may take a bit of work to find it though. I would look in my file that I had to find the address, but I lost it on my computer somewhere, sorry. I hear that to soft-mod the phat battery, you need to have a cfw psp, which to me defeats the purpose in the first place, but if you look around on youtube, you might be able to find something useful. It’s where I found the link to the files. :)

    One last Gabe comment:
You have the online language of a young teenager. If you want to be respected, cut down on the language and be more polite. If you need to know what something is, try Wikipedia. It may not be completely accurate, but it gets the idea through. You don’t need to say please and thank you most of the time, but it helps if you ask the question once, and if you don’t get an answer, help someone and then ask again. Don’t just drop in periodically and ask the same thing over and over again. I will stop the comments when you improve you online etiquette. Hey I do this all the time and only a select few seem to argue to no end over it all. Sorry if I seem to be that kind of person to you, Gabe.

The upload will continue through tomorrow, so I will post if it completes. I couldn’t find anything that doesn’t require custom firmware to install. I have heard of Mrdude’s “Easy Pandora GUI”. I haven’t tried it but it might help you. This is the best I can do until the upload is done. I need to get some sleep now, but I will try again later.
