PSP Converter v1.04

KG6ZVP has updated his video converter to version 1.04.

Features include:

  • Auto Gordian Knot Style DVD-Ripping (Drag and Drop first VOB of a Title)
  • Support for 720×480 Encoding
  • No longer a need to select Aspect Ratio (4:3, 16:9, etc.) Simply select NTSC or PAL and it will automatically figure out the rest!
  • For DVD-Rips, select the display aspect ratio of the title (PSP Converter will automatically crop it and resize without damaging the aspect ratio)

Hi. First of all, my suspicion is that you tried to convert a video not playable in Windows Media Player. Second of all, Media Player Classic has built-in mp4 support, so, if you want to see if your movie can be converted by my converter, look to see if Windows can generate a thumbnail view in Windows Explorer.

If you would like to convert non-direct-show movies with my converter, install vlc to:

    “C:\Program Files\VideoLAN\vlc”

    and run this command line:

    “C:\Program Files\VideoLAN\VLC\vlc.exe” -vvv “C:\Users\George\Videos\Input Video.mov” –sout-ffmpeg-qscale 1 :sout=#transcode{vcodec=WMV2,scale=1,acodec=wma,ab=156,channels=2}:duplicate{dst=std{access=file,mux=asf,dst=”C:\Users\George\Desktop\The name of the movie file.wmv”}} vlc:quit

or you can create a batch file with this code:

    “C:\Program Files\VideoLAN\VLC\vlc.exe” -vvv %1 –sout-ffmpeg-qscale 1 :sout=#transcode{vcodec=WMV2,scale=1,acodec=wma,ab=156,channels=2}:duplicate{dst=std{access=file,mux=asf,dst=”%~1.wmv”}} vlc:quit

I hope that answers your question. If it doesn’t, post back or e-mail me at:
