Sony has responded to the issue concerning scanlines on the new PSP’s (see below).

On some occasions, scan lines may appear on scenes where brightness changes drastically, due to the hardware features of the new LCD device on PSP-3000. Installed with this new LCD device, PSP-3000 offers more natural and vibrant colors on its screen, but the scan lines have come out to be more visible as a result of improving response time to alleviate the afterimages on PSP-3000. Since this is due to hardware specification, there are no plans for a system software update concerning this issue.

my guess is that new games will not have scan lines because they are going to be made to utilize the new hardware. so if your playing new games its not a problem, if not, it is. lol. theres my two cents :p

Oh dude,, thats just racist, i was at the shop ready with 360 fuckaroo’s and then mate points out that PSP-3000 cant b hacked, Geez…
lame… u know how shit i felt? so i bought a DS and took it home, opened it and played with it for 20 minutes and didnt like it so i returned it
i hope PSP-3000 doesnt sell AT all and sony makes PSP-4000 that is more like PSP-2000.

I bought the Rockband PSP 3001 and I have never seen any of this. Its always smooth as glass. Specially on Final Fantasy Crisis Core.
So idk what the hell these guys are talking about. Kinda looks like they got the Shaft

when i start my psp loading sign continuesly comes and when i open the umd door the loading sign is gone and when again i close the umd door the loading sign appears \r\ni can play games music everything but i don know what is the problem
