PSP-3000 screen issues

One of the prominent features of the is the updated giving more colours and less ghosting. Here’s one problem new PSP owners didn’t count on, scan-lines. This actually makes things look worse than the PSP-2000.

According to a thread at the PlayStation Forums, it is a widespread problem. Sony is currently looking into the problem and hoping it will only take a firmware update to fix.

    Hmm.. I was holding off on a PSP3000 for it to be modded but I guess I’m gonna go buy a Slim now. Btw the game is Desgeaea (I Think thats how you spell it) Its a GREAT JRPG game that has atleast 100hours of gameplay

    It can’t be fixed by firmware updates, it’s a problem with the hardware.

    One more reason the 2000 dominates the 3000.

    word in now is it hardware. Its unfixable unless sony fix it with a newer designed screen. No firmware update will fix this.

    hi,there,can someone help me out with my problem im facing with my psp 3000,the screen is fluctuating when i get back to main menu,it really doesnt stop and it takes a very long time to load games,it sucks,is there any solution for this?

    Every one I know a childish expensive way to get better screening download a 1080p HD download swap the 1050p HD with the 1080p and it will be better than 2000.

    But every one its imposible to hack the psp.

    This is NOT what a psp-3000 screen looks like. I’ve had mine since december 2009, and still have barely noticed them. Get your camera, take a picture of your computer screen, or TV when its on. You’ll see big black horizontal lines, Its from the camera, not the PSP screen. take my word for it, the graphics, and colors on the PSP-3000 screen are definately WAY worth it.
