The PSP-3000 is unhackable for now...

Dark-Alex has had a look at a pre-release PSP-3000 in Spain and has confirmed what most of us thought, that the PSP-3000 system is Pandora proof at this stage. Universal unbricker / Despertar del Cementerio v7 doesn’t work. Dax comments that this is no doubt due to the fact that the PSP-3000 series must be using the same CPU as the TA-088v3. (Currently unhackable)

- DC7 does NOT work. (Probably already assumed by most of you)
- 3000 version probably has the same CPU as 88v3, or with the same hashes checks made on this second.

No word on when a work around for the new PSP-3000 might be released, only that we just have to be pacient and hope Dark-Alex can work some more magic like he has done so in the past.

    check the exploit go on google videos and type psp 3000 hack 5.03 and the1st thing u see click on it should look like a belly. but whatever you do dont update psp to version 5.50 the newest one 1 week-2weeks hacks there

    hi i own a psp 3000, i hav downloaded iso games for it, i am weak in tech’s, could someone expain me what i should do to make my psp recognise iso files stored in memory card.

    what kind of emulator to download & from where?. appreciate all your hard work.

    @sam you need cfw for the psp to register iso and cso
    there is a tiff exploit created by matiaz which mite be a way to hack this piece of shit
    sum1 announced the production of a HEN program through the tiff file
    but he needs permission from dax 4 da use of his modules
    HEN = Homebrew ENabler
    in theory it wil hack the psp and install customfirmware(CFW)
    to bad im tradin my silver 3000 4 a silver 2000
    they da same but 3k jus got a mic wats da point

    There is absolutely no proof that the PSP 3000 has been hacked in the Phils. I happen to know my way around Greenhills, Divisoria and Tutuban and I know a lot of the reliable stores and people that sell and hack PSPs. They DO NOT hack PSPs at the moment. If you’re talking about one of those stalls in the area where they sell 2nd hand PSPs and Cellphones, then you’d better think twice ‘coz those guys aren’t reliable. are you sure you got your own unit back?
