, Surf PSN again and play games over PSN on CFW 5.XX.

This one is fresh off the internet. Prx plug-in PSPFucker by Japanese coder vosman. This awesome plug-in lets your custom firmware 5.xx M33 or GEN PSP surf and download games from PSN again as if it was early 2009. That means you can buy and download games plus demos as we once did before. Plus of course play games over PSN via wifi.

Its based off PSNEnabler and like any PRX plug-in you’ll need to add the line in vsh.txt and game.txt in seplugins folder:

ms0:/seplugins/psnfucker.prx 1

You’ll also need to take a few extra steps in order to get it too work in the recovery menu, which is:

recovery->configuration->Fake region : Debug Type I
recovery->configuration->M33 Network Update : Disabled or NOT YET

      Completely agree, they’re cutting off their nose to spite their face when it comes to PSN sales. I can kinda appreciate why they’d block online play though because of cheaters and everything, but actively stopping people from purchasing their downloads is just plain stupid.

        so true. i missed buying my favorite ps1 classics off of ps store.
        blocking online play is fair and understandable,but when they hate us to the point where they ban us from their products, it kinda makes you think how much we’re hurting them.
        i think the psp is a great platform, and we bought it, so why doesn’t sony just allow dev instead of losing money?

        In general, not meaning to target anyone or sound like a shithead ”no offence to who ever disagrees” why is it people under the age of 18, think their the smartest person in the world when the follow a step by guide, followed by a video tutorial that tells exactly to a ”t” how to hack a psp. Then to gain self confidence they leave a ”btw i’m [insert age here]” that just pisses the shit outta me” (LOL that sound so weird)

    this plug-in wasn’t meant to work on OFW but only on CFW.

    yet more proof that sony need not block us in the first place, and it’s their sales they’re restricting from the majority of the psp community anyway.
    doesn’t matter now,though. KUDOS in caps for this plugin :)

    Hi, i got a question, if you buy a psp game a demo or a ps1 game would it even work on your psp with custom firmware because i thought it doesnt work… i have a friend who say gave me to try out a psn game and it dont work on my psp… with custom firmware… gen 5.50 all the latest psn demos work, so if you did buy off the psn store it would be a waste of money wouldnt it… please give me a anwser, thanks

    I love the plugin, and i no this probably is the wrong place, but when you download the game add-on(like dw strikeforce) how do you using them, ive search all over anyone Know??? do i have to move the to a different folder ??

    Can someone please help me? It got rid of the error code but when i try to get into psn it asks me to update. Also it says to add it in the vsh.txt and game.txt, but i don’t have them.

      add this and save it: ms0:/seplugins/psnfucker.prx 1

      After you do so go into recovery mode>>>>configurations>>>>Fake Region>>>>Debug Mode I and Disable the “Use M33 Network Update” (5.00 M33-6).
      After that REBOOT your PSP and test it out. I’m running on 5.00 M33-6 and did not test it out but I know for sure it will work if you do what it says.

      To disable a PRX on your computer in the text just add the 0 (zero)
      To enable the PRX without going into recovery mode and actually enabling it add the 1 (one) after a space from the “.prx “

    If its starts to ask to update to the newer firmware just reboot ur PSP thats what i did to get passed it. 5.50GEN D3

      I rebooted and loaded up chickhen/gen-C on my psp 3000 and tried the psn store. It said i need to sing up and i clicked yes, then it gives me an error. I cant get this thing to work, hell i cant get any plug in to work on my psp because they just don’t work with it.

    It’s paradoxical logic at it’s finest hour: A company wants to protect it’s profits and copyrights. Yet by doing so, on a system that thrives -because- of Piracy, they are actually losing profits.

    On one hand they need that “public image” that says to game companies “If you choose the Sony PsP as your platform, we will protect your IP rights.” But on the other, there is the incontrovertible proof that not blocking CFW users on PSN leads to more interest in upcoming products and games, which translates into more profits.

    The last tired excuse against CFW having access to PSN is cheating. Obviously all CFW users are devil worshipping, baby murdering, foaming-at- the-mouth cheaters, who need to be burned at the stake without a trial, Salem-witch-trials-style.

    …..right. I have ocean front property in North Dakota to sell you, honest!

    Kudos on this new plugin. I fear that it will be blocked via whatever new 6.xx revision comes next, but that’s not stopping me from congratulating the time, effort, and talent that went into making this plugin a reality.

    This is fantastic. Shame it didn’t come out a few weeks ago, I would have loved to try Remote play from six states away. Oh well, at least I can browse the PSN store from the PSP now.

    so far ive been to the psn store. and i’ve also played motorstorm online. lbp doent work as it requires an upgrade that only works on 6.xx firmware.

    Welp, I just solved the problem of the PSNFucker not working in some psps.

    It turns out that if your PSP has already got previously installed programs in the seplugins folder and in the vsh and game text files, like the popstates and vsh menu for example, those programs will for some reason, “auto-disable” the psnfucker plugin, giving the error that some recieved. the only way to fix this problem is to disable the other plugins in recovery mode, restart the system, and viola! the psn network is now accessible again!

    Hopefully in the next release, the plugin can work alongside the others nicely, instead of disabling all of them except the psnfucker plugin. but hey, at least we got in after so fucking long =D.

      Same as I have, keeps telling me to update. Browser wont work at all now either, but when I scan the PSP finds my wifi.

        apparently, there is a difference between 5.50 GEN-D3 and 5.50 GEN-D(full),because i too have this problem.but i solved it by using 5.50GEN D-3 XGEN updater.

    If you are using 5.03 gen-c reuse the eboot. Counts as our rebooting of the system, I bypassed the update when I did that.

        Reuse whatever you used to get into 5.03 Gen-c after using chickhen or mhuspeed in order for it to get pass the update. Because some plugins don’t work unless 5.03 gen-c is rebooted. You have do it each time it tells you to update. You’ll get though. If it’s a error code, it’s probably the fake region or m33 update option.

    10x for the plugin i have an psp 2004 slim CFW gen-d3 final the plugin works on playstation store but i tried motorstorm online and keep asking me to update i cant play motorstorm anyoane can play motorstorm ??????? (please excuse my english)

      you have to use PSNabler for that, which is an entirely different plugin.

      Any luck with getting this to work? I’ve tried using it and had the same problem, at the moment if I haven’t logged in the PSN works and I can browse, but as soon as I enter my login details I can no longer access PSN, instead I get the ‘Update Firmware’ message.

      Turns out its my mistake. The plugin is supposed to be in the seplugins directory and in vsh.txt you will need to run it from there. But if you were lazy like me and copied it out of the text file then the directory location is wrong.

      you can simply create one if it’s not there already. same thing with the txt, create the files with notepad and save inside seplugins folder.
