PS1 Game For The Vita Surfaces On The Store
Yes ok this is slightly old news, however I still feel this is the sort of thing that should be posted on here even if it is about 3 weeks too late.
News of this first broke on the 26th of April when a copy of Buzz Lightyear of Star Command a Ps1 Classic appeared on the EU PlayStation Store for purchase. Before the game was pulled from the store Ryukyu22 was able to successfully purchase, download and, install the game on his PS Vita.
Unfortunately that is about as far as he managed to get before dreams of Ps1 support was dashed. Upon launching the Ps1 Classic the PS Vita highlighted the data corrupt. So that was was the bad news on the matter. Now for the good news, the LiveArena has been decorated to look like the Ps1 loading disc area from the original console.
This alone suggest that Sony are indeed working on the feature and hopefully before too long we will be playing with Crash and Spyro on the go once again.
