PS Vita Save game exploit number 2 found for HBL!

Share

PSV owners more good news…. While we wait for the announcement of the PSN title that will work with the new ported (Vita ) aka has found another PSN / PSP title that has a save game that can be exploited towards HBL use.

What does all this jargan mean!?!? (If your new here) It means another way to run the Half Byte Loader aka HBL, to allow User mode access in the PSP emulator part of your PS Vita (A mouthful I know!. Don’t try explaining this to anyone aloud if you don’t want too sound like a complete tool. Which means? Emulator and homebrew games and apps. Below is some video proof.

if someday PSVITA will fully hacked. Then is will be the best console ever created(at least for the next 6-7 years)

    • Anonymous

No fully hacked would = No good games. Just homebrew and if Sony pushed a free game market simular to Android we could have free apps and eumlators etc.

  • squiggs

Good relese 1 of them and save the next one when the first one is patched

    • LOLPOORTTRAMPS

LOL @ all of you guys, have fun pirating games while the rest of us are playing on PSN and BUYING our things.

        Ugh… holier than thou.

enough already, we get it, you’re better than i am.

        …fucking annoyance.

Can’t wait for an ISO loader. The first thing I’m gonna do is UMD dump my UMDs and then port them over to the Vita. Crisis Core, Monster Hunter, Battlefront II… Ah, the sweet memories.

Oh to have that twin analog stick goodness on Freedom Unite or 3rd. I don’t know if it would even work, but it would be beautiful if it did.

So how will this get around the Content Assistance Manager? I am already bored with my VITA with one game; Apshalt: Injection…..If only I could make videos of my gameplay like I did with my PSP using remote joy lite I would have something to share….

My Vita froze the first day and it took me to a recovery screen of some sort. If I knew how to take a screen snapshot I would’ve try and see if that would somewhat help. The only thing I wish not to be made is a cheat device that would ruin online gaming like it did on the PSP (maybe explains why infrastructure gaming on the PSP died thus killing the PSP   =(

To take a screenshot on the Vita press the PS button and start button at the same time.

Can’t wait for this!! loads of emulated goodness when on the go :)

Plus praying for an ISO loader of some kind as although I have a couple of PSP games that are from the Japanese store (you know for us that are multi lingual) it is such a pain in the ass to play them having to factory reset the Vita just to play them!!

  • Asa

Custom firmware will enable so much more for PS Vita

If they manage to do the same to the ps vita as they did the psp then that woukd be awesome, i never used my psp 1000 until i found out about ctf, i was up to date with latest firmwarers, started with M33 then GEN and all that, custom themes, homebrew, and putting my umds on memory sticks was a godsend! Faster loading, dint hav to carry discs and better battery life! The only thing that was annoying was not being able to play online or access the ps store, which i guess theres no way around :/ ps vita still needs updating alot, the browser that im using now on the vita is horrid!

  • hmm

Anyone knows if will PS Vita be hacked ? ever?

  • worldsocold

Great news! The funny part is the Vita may be dead but wed still be playing psp isos on it lol.

  • SlickRick

Sorry for sounding like a noob, when the HBL unlocks the potential for homebrew, are we still restricted to the PSP’s processing power? Or will things run smoother?
For example, will a SNES emulator run better on the Vita?

    • Egress99

yeah, thats my question too.  It sounds like it gives you access to run unrestricted code in PSP mode, not access to the entire system.

it makes it sound like running backups of vita games is still a long time away.

according to my tests, it really looks more powerful than the 333/266 full speedmode on psp, even though vita is giving information about running at 333/266 full speed like the psp
some really slow homebrews on psp happen to work nearly flawlessly on vita in my tests

  • kran34

so are they already working on custom firmware for psvita

  • ultimatepirate

i dont care about homebrew anymore.. i have an android for it!! i want backups ;) wheres the news to this!!

  • Dude

The thing is PSP isnt completely dead yet because i have a 16 GB card for my psp so I cant just put abunch of PSP games on my mini 4gb card because it dosnt fit…So untill the memory price drops im not droping my psp

  • jeepman

I want the vita to get hacked meaning free psp games and emulators but no free psv games tht will destroy the systme and turn it into another psp and we dont want tht because vita is a really great system

  • Sappho_legrec

Some of you think that the PSP didn’t succeed as a gaming system because of hacks and piracy?  You have no idea what you are talking about.  The PSP was too expensive and it was a real system but it wasn’t good enough to simply port games from the current consoles, so any games released had to be developed from the ground up.

Who’s going to bother spending a lot of money and hoping people actually buy their games on a portable system?  No one, that’s who.  It’s too risky with too little profit.  People use real consoles for real games, and portable systems for crapware games like the DS has.  That’s just how the world works.  I’m honestly surprised the Vita even exists.

Look at it’s japanese sales and soon american sales figures, they are absolutely depressing.  If the Vita has a future at all, it’s as an open platform with homebrew, emulation, and hopefully more impressive stuff like running android and windows 8 on it’s compatible browser, as well as a flash-enabled mobile browser.

If PSV is hacked (or in a future FW update) can it function as a cell phone? because the retailers in my country sell the 3g and the wifi only model have a small price gap. I don’t want to waste money in buying the 3g if all it could do is outside internet.

  • zanzeroth

i think the reason the psp failed is because they were porting games that used a standard playstation 2 or 3 controller which meant you had some awkward controls. now that you have a full controller set up and improved graphics it really seems like it is a truly portable console. my only complaint is that i am going to have to by the PSN versions of the psp games i already have.

I’m guessing that the founders of the game exploits are now trying to figure out a way to release the name of this title without Sony instantly pulling the game from under their noses right?

  • Sushant_grg_sck7

cant the already hacked ps3 system be used to isolate psp isos n psn downloads n then use them to transfer to the psvita system(given that the files r read as valid downloads on the ps3 by vita)

  • Brae

my only problem with psp was the fact that the analog broke so easy. i went threw like 9 psps. only took like a week for the analog to get a mind of its own and start moving when im not touching it

  • dave

Will we have by any chance illegal download and play thing for psv..like we had iso/cso for psp..I know its too early..just curious.?

  • Asony32

wish i could hacking my ps-vita….LOL
