plz tell me does it work on psp 3000 3g, i bricked my psp but i can go to recovery menu……i have 6.20 pro b4

    • Yoshi King

      it should work then.

    • psp dj

yep this plugin is working strictly on psp 3000 and some psp go. but by the way if u have a brick psp u should be on permenant cfw like 6.20 pro-b5, 6.20 tn-d,6.20 pro-b4 etc. and it must load the recovery menu by holding r trigger to get it. and by the way the in the game folder there should be RECOVERY folder and put the 2 eboots into it or else when u run it from recovery menu it will just go back to xmb

      • Yoshi King

you won’t be sent back to xmb by just launching Recovery… there’d be no point in this plugin if that works

  • PSP4ever

    Nice!

    • aboodkhd

this plugin could unbrick 3000s and 4000s if the psp has PCFW 6.20 B5

    • Aceofspace

PRO B5 has a recovery menu.

  • erick

a brick is when the flash is like to tally messed up nd wont boot nd semi brick is usually when only a file or 2 is messed up but it at least lets u boot into the recovery menu

  • Fenrios Senju

This is why u sell that thin plastic cheap ass piece of shxt psp 300 for a psp 1000 or 2001 cuz they are totally unbrickable and will actually survive a two foot drop unlike these weak ass 3000′s with their failblog temp cfw or old ass 6.20 cfw that requires iso patching…. Sorry I just ranted for no reason but im just saying!!! I’m currently running a psp 1000 which I put together myself!! From the spare parts of dead psp 1000′s my friends had with 6.38 ME-2,don’t gotta decrypt a damn thing and it’s built like a tank. All 3k’s due is brick or semi brick or end up with cracked screens from little drops from like your pocket to the floor

    • Brent

yeah yeah dude .. i have both phat and slim psp’s .. and i like the phat more ..

      • http://gmail.com ClockWork

I can see why you find that the PSP 2000 and 1000 is better than the 3000 in hacking terms.Remember that it was not ment to be hacked, it was ment to better than the rest :)

  • manmala

why my psp cant play or on with battery.but when im put the battery with charge the psp, the psp on normally for a few minutes and then off back…. how to solve this situation?
    sori 4 my english language…

  • manmala

n i can play normally without battery when i plugin the charge battery

  • Wh1sker

if your psp is running on 6.20 TN-E,
how can you access the recovery menu?

    • RavousFlare

only with perma patch like 6.20 PRO-B4/5 or 6.20 TN-D w/perma patch with recovery.

  • zain

i wouldn’t recomend perm for psp3000 brite cause i waz playing a game and if u suspend it while playing iso/cso or homebrew it would have 50% chances semibrick showing the blue(death) screen and by pressing o u cant recover u need to have this plugin or use the emergency select+start+O+X option

just use either th-e or 6.20 bro b4 without perm. its better and safer

    gt a PSP3002 (brite) 3g

    • Aceofspace

Suspend is the DUMBEST shutdown option that anyone EVER put in a CFW. Just SAVE the game and TURN it OFF with the POWER SWITCH. The power switch is that switch on the right-side of your PSP.

      • se7en

I dont know what you guys ane ranting about. Ive been using psp 3k since 2009 and always put it on suspend mode or sleep mode by sliding the side button while playing a game. Until now with 6.20 PRO B4/B5 im still doing that.

Kindly explain where is the risk of brick by suspending PSP while playing ISO/CSO or EBOOT?..

      • [iop]wah

maybe he did something else, he’s just a noob…

    • Wamphyri2b

Wow, what a load of crap. The Perma patch works just fine, with or without using the suspend option. Either you aren’t doing something right or your console has issues.

  • Guide

Paste it in PSP\GAME\RECOVERY\ Then it will work.

  • Intelligent kid

U dont need the program , if u dont do something silly and brick ur psp . besides , it does nt work on psp 3000 (i m not sure but i think go to)cause cause it is never semi-bricked , it just gets totally bricked , so u cant access the recovery menu .

    • Wamphyri2b

Of course the Brite & Go can get semi-bricked. There are far too many comments from people who just want to sound like they know something on this thread. Why don’t we talk about what the plug-in actually will do.

  • PELS

can this unbrick psp 3000 with version 5.50?

    • Intelligent kid

no , no psp 3000 possible , i had the same problem , when i had given my psp to my cousin sis for 5 days to play

  • manmala

why my psp cant use battrey………

    • Intelligent kid

      wat?

  • BobbyB

If your psp can’t use a battery then it’s probably a pandora battery, or an incompatible or dead battery. If it’s a pandora batttery it won’t boot unless you inject an ipl image into the memory stick. If you plug in your psp without the battery, turn it on then put the battery in and unplug the charger the battery will work though. If you want to inject that image download psp grader and use the option ipl inject. I believe it’s Ipl It could be different but is three letters nonetheless.

  • Bambu

(frustrated guy-fuuu-) hi evebody, there’s something that wont get off of my head til it be solved
psps 2000(ta 088 v3) accepts the pandora? when I ask this question one guy said that it was compatible and other said that its not. so… is it or isn’t?

    • [iop]wah

Use pspident to identify ur motherboard(accurately), some newer psp2000 models are unhackable, if you are really in the TA-088v3 motherboard(unhackable), ur in no luck your psp is not compatible with the pandora battery.there is no other way please dont ask again i repeat “there is no other way”unless off course some devs make it compatible with ur model.

  • blackalic

how about in 3004 model with official firmware?its semi brick but cant open recovery menu?

    • [iop]wah

good luck 2 u.. there no way you can open it without the recovery..how come its semi bricked anyway on OFW?what did you do…

  • [iop]wah

Hi would this work on psp go 5g,6.20 pro-b5, i have seen the zip files but no support for 5g models, its up to 4g only(6.20 folder).what if i copy the 5g.dat on my psp go and my flash1 and put it on designated place would it read the files when i open up the prx unbricker.i will use psp filer for copying of files on my flash drives….

    • Wamphyri2b

I’m not sure if this works for go, but if it’s compatible what your suggesting makes sense. It wouldn’t hurt to back-up those files either way. I would use Recovery Flasher to do the back-up’s though. You can boot it from this app/plug-in, it’s like a 2in1. Just run it & select back-up flash. All the files you want will be copied to your stick.

  • Flame

    Hai!!!
If u got bricked on 6.20 pro b5 by wrong permament patching. x at first question and o at the second… i got bricked. My psp turning on and i see my memcard is reading something but it’s infinite…i can get to recovery mode. So i’m tried to get it work first i downloaded prxunbrick 1.0 i tried 2 method not working…

    • Happee

Tried different methods. Still my psp 3000 won’t work. Hope this method works.. Anyone other than him tried this out? Please reply.

  • http://gmail.com ClockWork

I was updating my PSP go, I had forgot to do something because i was raging that i was stuck on 6.20 and couldnt update to 6.35 because for some reason the update folder was on 1.50 D-Gen. I Shut off my psp go and i tried to boot it up… but then … IT… HAPPENED… I GOT BRICKED. If i was running on 6.20 PRO B5 Could that have possibly helped me unbrick my psp go? i already had an unbrick installed. My new psp 3000 suckz bawlz…

  • ya

i use psp go 6.20 pro b5 per.i got brick when i playing games.it just stop and then i turn it off when i turn it on it just flash the green light maybe 10 sec then it auto turn it off.please help me.

    • http://www.psp-slimhacks.com MKFan

  • resist4me

Howdy, I have a semi brick and for some reason the option for this plugin is not appearing on my recovery menu. I can’t find it anywhere. I followed the instructions but there is no option in my plugins list, nor in my main recovery menu. Can someone help me?

    • Wamphyri2b

What cfw & PSP model do you have?

      • resist4me

        I have 6.20 tn-d permanent *sigh* and 3002.

    • Wamphyri2b

Okay, that kinda sucks. I’m fairly sure you can still undo your semi-brick. Which version of what recovery menu did you install? Also how did this happen? If it was during a downgrade, do you know which module you have?

      • resist4me

I have recovery menu v6 for perma tn-d. It happened when I was exiting a game to go to play another. It just happened when I exited to the xmb/dashboard.

    • Wamphyri2b

Ok, I can’t be positive this will work for you, but it’s the only option I think you have with that recovery menu. Hook your PSP to your computer via usb & start your recovery menu. Select Toggle Flash1 & drag the flash1 files from this plug-in or your personal back-up to overwrite the existing ones. Toggle flash1 back off, remove psp from computer, & power down. Hopefully it will come back up with a blue screen & you can press O to fully restore with default settings. If this doesn’t work, Sorry, I tried my best but I don’t know what else to do for you. If it does work, I hope you enjoy. I would suggest leaving Tn-D & going with Pro-B5. It has a full “m33″ style recovery menu, to help in the future. If you don’t use the perma patch you could still boot from either Pro-B5 or TN-E & still have the full recovery menu for problems like this. Either way, I hope this works out for you.

i tried a new trick accidentally on my psp go, i open recovery menu and disabled the cxmb.prx plugins,,and then i reset vsh,,, wolllaaaaa!!! lol

  • Harry

    Hi.
I have PSP 3004 CFW 6.39 PRO-B8 and i semi-bricked and the cfw isnt permanent, and i cant go to recovery menu. What can i do? :( (

    • TN-E + PRO B9

      NOTHING

  • sam lindo

    Ran TN-E v3 installer
    Pressed X
Pressed X again to “test out” TN-E before it “installed”
Played around in this Test mode, enjoyed seeing a new TN menu on the System tab in the XMB, system firmware said 6.20
Shut off my psp 3000 complete to see if it indeed was “permanent” (I forgot that was a test mode earlier)
Back in OFW, I ran the Signed TN-D so I could start up the TN-E v3 again; strangely I don’t remember disabling FLASH0 protection this time, but I would’ve had to in order to continue
This time, I pressed X, then O to install (as instructed by most of the community)
Back in XMB (I assume in TN-E mode), I went to see if the new TN menu was there (it wasn’t), and the system firmware said plain 6.20 again, and this was why I ran the TN-E installer again.
Installer asked if I wanted to uninstall (I said no), then it asked if I wanted to install (I said yes, assuming nothing bad would happen)
Blank screen. Holding R brought up the TN Hen Recovery menu; I can still connect and look at my file structure using USB. what should i do?

    • Wamphyri2b

Using the Perma Patch is much easier than you have made it. Also, you do not need to run TN-D before TN-E & the Perma Patch installer. Your explanation of how you caused your problem is not very clear, but you appear to be semi-bricked. As long as you can access recovery menu, you may be okay. Since it isn’t exactly clear what you have done to it, I would suggest to update your psp to a higher firmware. That will erase whatever you’ve done & return your psp to a usable state. If you want to do this, create a folder called recovery at psp/game/recovery & put a ofw updater in it. It shouldn’t matter which you use, as long as it’s higher than 6.20. Go to your recovery menu & select run program at psp/game/recovery/eboot.pbp. That should update you to a higher firmware. You can always downgrade back to 6.20 later. If you do decide to use the Perma patch just do this: Run TN-E, run TN-E perma patch installer, press X to test, when it boots back up just press SELECT to make sure you are still on TN-E, now run Perma Patch installer again but instead of pressing x to test just press o. That method will work with Pro-B10 also.

I have a “PSP3004 04g running 6.20 OFW (and 6.20 LCFW)” the problem is.. it WAS a “PSP3004 09g OFW 6.60″ until I used Davee’s downgrader to take it to 6.20 and now I can’t update my firmware back to 6.60 and I have been told it is because Davee’s downgrader edited the index.dat file and changed my PSP from a 09g to a 04g and so now it isn’t accepting any new firmwares. I am assuming that is what this tool is for right? Can someone give me a link to a video showing me how to use this? How to Repair index_0Xg.dat:1. Download PRXUnbricker2. Open and extract files from RAR3. Go to RECOVERY Menu and select “Toogle USB”4. Copy folder PSP to ms0:/5. Copy folder index_0Xg.dat to ms0:/seplugins6. Disconnect PSP from PC7. In RECOVERY Menu select “Run Program at ms0:/PSP/GAME/RECOVERY/EBOOT.PBP”8. Choose Repair index_0Xg.dat9. Enjoy!!!I have a question.. I tried placing the index_09g.dat file in the seplugins folder and  PRXUnbricker told me “can’t find index_04g.dat” umm.. but its AT 04g and I want to change it BACK to 09g! So that’s why I put that file in. If I rename index_09g.dat to index_04g.dat and then use that to flash my psp.. will it then change it to 09g? If so.. I know that will conflict the PSP because 6.20 isn’t meant to be on a 09g.. so can I rename the 09g.dat file as I said above in the recovery mode and then, while in recovery mode, select run psp/game/recovery/eboot.pbp (that file being OFW 6.35)  so I can THEN update it to 6.60 OFW, so I can stick LCFW 6.60 on it.. will that work?
