More updates over the weekend for . Its had two more updates, the changelog is below.

PRXShot v0.2.4 changelog 3rd April:

v0.2.4:
# [!]Fixed the bug introduced in 0.2.3 that didn’t detect the settings
in the .ini file.
# [!]Fixed bug with homebrew not properly detected in PSPGo using the
internal storage.
v0.2.3:
# [+]Added support for eLoader (1.50 eboot loader)
# [+]Recreate the folder if is deleted.
# [!]Fixed nasty bug that causes a crash when taking very early screenshots
(Note that you can’t take screenshots on loaders because the isn’t
loaded yet, a special folder is gonna be added for this in the future)
# [+]Added option XMBClearCache to the prxshot.ini. While this updates the picture
directory when taking screenshots in the XMB i recommend that is better
to leave it disabled because it causes troubles with game categories.
# [+]Added more debug messages.

Codestation has been busy and updated the application more than a few times, grab this latest version if your using this plug-in!

Ok so there are a few ways to take screens on your PSP, personally I use remotejoy lite and fraps. Sometimes that doesn’t work for some games. So here comes codestation with PRXshot, a PSP Genesis Competitionentry. Its another screenshot plug-in for your PSP. It can take game sceenshots and append the game ID in the save string and are saved to:

>> /PSP/SCREENSHOT//pic_XXXX.bmp

for UMD/ISO games or:

>> /PSP/SCREENSHOT/PS<8-byte sha1sum of the title>/pic_XXXX.bmp

Dev notes:

Installation: Copy the prxshot directory to the seplugins directory (or anywhere you want) and add the plugin to the game.txt file (and/or vsh.txt if you want to).

The prxshot directory comes with these files:

* prxshot.prx: the plugin
* default_icon0.png: optional default icon to use for those homebrews without icon (you can make your own image, just try to maintain the same dimensions)
* xmb.sfo: template to make folder icon for screenshots in VSH mode.

The plugin by default tries to use the PIC1.PNG file too (the background image that appears when the game is selected in the xmb menu) for the screenshot folder but you can force the plugin to omit the image by creating a empty file named prxshot_nopic1.txt in the same directory of the plugin (some games/homebrews have heavy images for background that take some seconds to load and probably you dont want that additional MS activity).

How to use it: press the NOTE button to take a screenshot.

      when you add it to vsh.txt, plugin is enabled in XMB (psp system menu with music, videos, games, settings etc), when you add it to game.txt then plugin is active in games as well

    Copy Folder with PRX to seplugins.
    add the line to the vhs.txt and game.txt

    press note button. nothing happens.

      You have to manually create the PSP/SCREENSHOT directory. After that it will work.

    When you add “the line” does that mean you type in both txt files: ms0:/seplugins/prxshot.prx
    Also I am using Pro-B HEN 6.35 will it work with this HEN?

      yes, i, too, am using 6.35 PRO – B3.. and works fine.. the only thing is i only get it to work in-game.. but no biggie i need it for game screenshots anyway

    works for me 3001 PRO-B3 but after pressing note and capping screenshot it crashes and reboots my psp.

        i just simply loaded the game.. i dont know where did i messed up, maybe it doesnt works when capping screenshot while your still in game menu. it hangs for a sec when pressing the note button and after awhile it all goes down rebooting itself. i dont know, but i havent tried it yet capping screenshots while in-game. imma try this new update, hope it works. thnx for replying buddy! :)

        oh.. seems to be its getting worst than the previous problem i got. lol, now it wont load even the game itself and crashes the psp. wth i wont use this thing anymore before i get my psp brick.
