Playstation store update

Sony has finally unveiled the new store! It has an entirely new interface that we should all love, and the fact that It’s hardly ever that they update anything major on .

The things Is that allot of “fanboys” don’t like the new store because It resembles xbox dashboard to much and they hate It, but seriously that Is not a big deal, PS3 Is still the leading game console on the market, and so what If they copied a little bit of GUI from xbox, every console copies each other. The new interface will be coming out this month, so take a look at these screen shots while your at It!

With all the exploits coming out keeping PSN busy, I’m surprised that they had time to make an article about the new interface, and It’s coming out October 17 in Europe and October 23 in the United States so mark that date down on your calender. Aside from a new look it also incorporates some new features that fans have been asking for. The new PS store looks really slick, clean and better organized than the previous store.

PSN store will not be categorized by platform via the navigation menu on the left of the screen , with Vita and Classic content separate to PS3. by wololo “You’ll get on the right and on the navigation bar the typical news feed with the deals, promotions and specials like before. The new store will also encompass more advanced options for procuring content that’s now sorted by game type, prices, singleplayer or multiplayer, release date, accessories and more.”

Sony actually listened to the customers concerns and feedback and that’s great, to put the customers feedback and concerns into perspective. There will be a new search engine that sony says “Makes searching for content easier than before.” well It was already pretty easy If you absolutely knew what you were looking for, the search engine was to specific but It’s real good that It’s easier. The old keyboard is obsolete replaced by a swift scrollable selection of letters.

Included with the update, is a new version of the cart and recommendation system . When browsing titles, gamer’s can see recommended items the store thinks that It might interest you. Sony also says that this Is just the beginning to the new PSN store. But this Is only announced on the PS3, not the PSP nor the Vita. Yet.

    Does anyone still play or use their PSP’s to visit the PSN Store these days? I pretty much have my PSP laying around my livingroom and my Vita in my room….Did anyone else put aside their PSP’s or am I alone….

    I only think this updated PSN will be available for all the systems but not really worth an update on the PSP since it’s outdated (just my opinion) and I strongly believe that technology is contantly being updated to smaller and faster products….

    Anyways thanks and as always keep us posted!! I can’t wait….

    So  Iam guessing sony will update both the vita and ps3.
    Then, after that release, it would be the perfect chance to look for a exploit.

    resemble xbox ?
    it don’t resemble THAT much..
    I mean sure there are some similarity but it mostly that that Sony Playstation feel to it.
    also…the xbox 360 resemble Window 8 Platform.  that one of those main difference with Sony and Microsoft.
