PlayStation All-Stars Beta
If you’ve been living under a rock, PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale is essentially Sony’s answer to the immense popularity of Nintendo’s Super Smash Bros. The concept is basically the same, and focuses on pitting some of the PlayStation universe’s biggest faces against one another in an ultimate battle to the death. While the release of the game has received a lot of hype, if you’re a PlayStation Plus member or a PS Vita owner, you’ll be able to begin beta testing this unique experience starting today!
So what will you lucky Plus subscribers and PS Vita owners be getting when you sign in to this limited beta experience. According to sources over at Sony, players will have six characters to choose from which include Kratos, Sweet Tooth, Colonel Radec, Sly Cooper, PaRappa, and Fat Princess. You’ll be able to take these fighters into two different stages called Metropolis and Hades. By using the previously announced cross-platform features, Vita owners will be able to compete head to head with gamers on PS3 in four player tournaments and 2v2 team battles. You’ll even be able to invite a friend as well to join your team should they want to see what the fuss is all about.
However, if you’re not a member of this somewhat select group, you need not worry. While early access begins today, public beta will begin on October 23rd allowing all PSN users to give the game a try. Still, if you want to use this one, you better be quick, because the doors close once again just one week later on the 30th. If anyone has been fortunate enough to try out this early beta, feel free to post in the comments section. I’m interested to hear what you think!
