It’s still not quite stable, but at least someone is working on it.

You could probably run low-end games (i.e. 2-D) but I doubt it’ll run anything more powerful than that.

Actually this is a very powerful emulator. Iv been testing, compiling this emulator since it started. Most two dimensional games work perfectly that is playable in Jpcsp. Since about three months ago it started to play three dimensional games, such as Gripshift, Pac-Man World 3 ect…altho these games do not work perfectly but Gripshift i would say is “stable”.

Jpcsp is the ONLY PSP emulator that has gotten this far in development and is written in the Java programming language. Check out the compatibility list here: http://jpcsp.org/forum/viewforum.php?f=25&sid=42a515776a591326d3d10317fc7e1165

Tekken 6 psp, is not working on 5.50 GEN – D2.

Yes I love this Emulator, thanks for the hard work, but I will be appreciate if you guys concentrate on the game itself.

If we all got back to OFW, likely to say this Emulator will be useless to us.

Eh…i don’t know why Tekken 6 does not work for you…it works perfectly on my 2001 5.50 GEN D2 PSP.

I think this emulator goes around FW security anyway if the people are willing to work out the bugs. DS emulation is already ahead for the PC, but bugs are still being worked out. There will be hope for PSP emulation on the PC since have already exploited different PSPs. Wii emulation is still far behind, but progress has been made quickly. I wonder why it took so long (a few years) to get a workable PSP emulator on the PC?

      Wii emulation far behind?
Dolphin can emulate Super Smash Bros. Brawl at full speed and in 720p. Although I haven’t been paying much attention to the Wii emulation scene.

Well PSP is harder to implement then any other system on the market, but realistically speaking..you know PS3 couldn’t be implemented for another 10 years before anyone would attempt that kinda thing lol.

And Jpcsp started last year around octoberish.

Sorry for double post but… forgot to add that Pcsp is much faster then Jpcsp and is NOT ready for (public) beta testing.

There wouldn’t be much reason to emulate ps3 since most of the games in time are ported to pc.
