Password Lock Plugin for HEN/CFW 6.20

Coder bpterson has released a password control plugin for EN/CFW 6.20 TN-E, 6.20 PRO-B7. This plugin will enable a password protection before entering the PSP’s XMB.

The usage is really simple:
Put passctrl.prx at ms0:/seplugins/ or ef0:/seplugins/
And add plugin path at vsh.txt.

      it’s password protection for the xmb… it’s when you do not want anyone else to be able to access your psp not just your games… content manager can not do that!

      nice plugin… will try it… is there any other way to access your psp *in case* you forget your password?

        ofcourse, just disable the plugin. If you are using permanent patch, then just remove it.

        i think my friend and other turn on psp just to play the game. and when we set parentalcontrol level pspwill be boring

    This is a port for 6.20 PRO-B CFW, from 6.20 TN-E HEN (you can enable this feature in TN Settings)
    By the way, my name is bpeterson not “bpterson” ;D

    whats the use of SRC folder?where should i put it?

      The src (source) folder is for developers, it contains the source code of the plugin. You don’t need to put it on your PSP.

      it works on my psp .. we have the same firmware .. maybe u did a mistake

    If you r on lite firmware then that password plugin won’t work if u get boot back to OFW

    it can easily deactivate by accessing the recovery menu..so i suggest that do not use permanent patch if youre using 6.xx firmware.. your friends will get a hard time opening your psp unless they connect it to pc..lol

    this is actually pretty cool on a PSP GO with PRO-B permanent…it will actually lock it effictively (in theory at least). I have been waiting for this since i saw it on TN-hen (non-permanent=kinda useless)

    hey i got a little brother but he uses my psp alot without the psp but what happens when in the middle of the password that it need screen and he turns it off what happens?
