Open Source NAND Dumper v0.1 for the PSP Slim & CFW 3

cory1492 has released an open source NAND Dumper for the PSP Slim and firmwares 3.xx. His work based on the original developments by Dark_AleX and Mathieulh. We recommend that all PSP Slim owners should dump their NAND flash memory and this provides an easy way to do that.

NAND Dumper v0.1 for the PSP Slim

Why should you back up your PSP NAND Flash? If you happen to brick your PSP Slim it could be the only way of bringing it back to life if you have the back up nand handy.

If you use the universal unbricker V3 there is an option to restore the NAND from a backup.

this is safer app to use to back up the Nand rather the the one with the universal unbricker v3 as it is causing some psp’s to brick while backing up.. because it uses flash o… this app does it from the xmb much safer.. use this instead

But whats the point if you have to have a custom firmware to run it? You’re forced to back it up using the universal unbricker to begin with anyway right? Or am I wrong?

If I have a slim, backed up the NAND with NAND dumper. How I restore later this nand-dump.bin file (using at the moment 3.71SW).
