Netfront Internet Browser Beta 4
Team P86 have released Beta 4 of their Netfront Internet Browser. If your sick of seeing the Not enough Memory error when browsing sites with your PSP then this is for you. This new version brings ChickHEN support so PSP-3000 owners can enjoy a bit of fast browsering without the memory error. And password protection plus improved stability. It works on all PSP models, well as long as your using ChickHEN or 5.00 M33.

* Annoying prompt was removed.
* HEN support was added(Also PSP-3000 support)
* The theme was changed(EBOOT music, background etc…)
o We won’t remove music etc. because they don’t matter…
* It is more stable.

* On ChickHEN, HighMemMod always uses the same memory on all PSPs(32 MB). Because the extra RAM parts of Slim and Brite has been locked by Sony. HighMemMod would use all memory if M33 files was added to ChickHEN…
–About Password Protection–
* Copy the ProtectedHtmlMax_Eng folder to PSP/GAME.
* To use this feature, you should change your parental level to 10 or you should change it to OFF!
* And you can add password to your browser for safety(XMB>Settings>Secur ity Settings)–About VSH Plugin–
* Copy vsh folder to your flash0 and Enjoy…

There are two possibilities..
1. you do not have CFW installed.. (chickHen or M33)
2. it really is corrupted.. try installing it again.
get the chickHen or the CFW psp2000’s use.. i have brite so i have the chickHen.. just to throw it in..i wish someone out there would make iso/cso loaders for brite… if not davee. someone.. thanks..

Again, what about that says pirating? i mean seriously, thats like saying homebrew usage on the PSP is pirating, cause most CFW allows iso/cso. so i ask you why iso is ALWAYS considered piracy? i cant use my UMD drive anymore, so i’ve had to rely on the few backups i made with my psp, i use ISO’s does that mean im a pirate too? i made my iso’s through the M33 firmwares ability to rip iso’s off of the umd disc, luckly i made backups of most of my favorite games before my UMD drive was shot (which was not due to ripping, as the drive went dead many month afterward.) so seriously, just cause someone says ISO loader doesnt mean they are pirates, stop accusing people. that is unless you have proof said person is pirating.

Been using the old one not bad could get some flash games to work,it wont play vids tho folks.so I will have to try this new one out to see how much they have improved it,tho its miles better than sonys browser,but if your not bothered about flash, opera mini on pspkvm is sweet…….

i have a question…is it normal that i can’t see the eboot preview with chickhen activated? u know the background that apears when u scroll over an icon…i can see it when my psp is not running the hen…

Actually, it’s not needed to run Netfront. Just use it when you’re using CFW but if you’re using HEN alone, you’ll end up bricking your PSP.

Could it brick my PSP 3000 if I am running ChickHEN only. I think yes since it would write to my flash0. I never tried this really I am running ChickHEN on PSP 3000 5.03 and homebrew apps working fine like I got tons of games (thousands!) using GBA ROM.

doesn’t work with cfw 5.00 M33-6 – says currupted data, cannot be deleted, only a windows repair can fix the mem stick afterwards / great -.-

I can’t seem to get this running. I copied the vsh folder to my flash 0 and when I start the Internet Browser from my XMB it returns me back to the XMB. I’ve seen a few other people who are having the same issue, but none have been clearly resolved. Any help or suggestions on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
I am running 5.00 m33-6 on a PSP 2000.

I would love to see this with Flash 10 and download accelerator support, but its nice just having a fast internet browser.

I have psp 2000 runing 5.00 M33-6, i moved this download to PSP/GAME folder and it displays as corupted data. Also what is a flash0 folder? and how do i create it to add the vsh plugin?

you dont have to create a flash0 folder., in my case i use vsh menu then set the usb device to flash 0 then connect it to pc via usb., then you will see a folder there named vsh, paste the vsh folder to it., if theres a promt message just select yes to all., hope it helps^^

for those person having trouble about they’re flash0., you can simply use hellcat’s recovery flasher
the latest now is v1.5
what you will need is the recovery flash installer
and the ofw of sony., if youre using 5.00 m33-6 then you will need sony ofw which is 5.00..
try to search for it., works perfect for me

LOL You’re absolutely right, if they had the sense to legalize CFW, the psp would be way better.

Despite the pen cursor being slower in movement, it’s a very small sacrifice since the app grants access to every site to be displayed without memory errors. HEll, I can even download files to the psp.
