Need for Speed: Most Wanted Confirmed…

That’s right after a good two weeks of rumors EA has confirmed that are indeed making another Need for Speed.

No details have been announced for the game yet such as consoles, yet a few weeks back there was also a rumor going round suggesting that Games were hiring people to work on Vita specific hardware.

We can expect more on this from the EA Press Conference at in a couple of days time.

Criterion Games last major release was the well recieved Need for Speed: and before that they worked on their own series.

Looking forward to hearing more about this in the coming days.

    I hope that it’s open world like some of the older Need for Speed games. Need for Speed Underground through Carbon were by far the best racing games I’ve ever played. The customization options of your vehicles, as well as interesting story lines and open world exploration were incredible. All the Need for Speeds after Carbon were kinda… meh. Even Undercover. It was still open world, but it lacked the gritty atmosphere of the previous games. I really hope this version coming to Vita is a return to an old, but amazing, formula.

      Hopefully it’s not a port from the psp, and if it is they better have added new features to improve the game’s quality.

    I watched the EA press conference and there was no Vita version announced ,, can you confirm that its not coming to vita ?

      This will be coming to the Vita, and will feature everything the console version does minus the number of competitors in the multiplayer modes :)
