Naruto Shippuden: Legends: Akatsuki Rising screenshots

Looks like Namco isn’t finished with the Naruto franchise. They plan to release another Naruto game in North American this fall. It’s called Naruto Shippuden: Legends: Akatsuki Rising. (Yes its a mouth full!)

Naruto Shippuden: Legends: Akatsuki Rising is an adventure game focusing on the Gaara rescue arc from the Manga and Anime series. The game’s Original play mode will cover this. You are in control of a three man team, of which two will be support characters.

While Naruto Shippuden: Legends: Akatsuki Rising isn’t a full on fighting game there is a VS ad-hoc mode so you can fight it out with your friends. Akatsuki Rising will also support a two-player co-op mode. Also finally there is a scenario mode where you fight and gather skill scrolls to build up your character’s abilities. Release date is set for Fall (US)
