Alpha Revision 484

Update: Revision 485 released.

The usual weekly DaedalusX64 alpha build has been post by froggyman over at the DaedalusX64 forums, this update to the Nintendo 64 emulator features some code cleans ups that should result in speed increases. If your an avid Nintendo 64 fan then this is a must for your PSP. Keeping up to date will insure your running at the fastest speed possible with all the bugfixes etc. Changelog is below for your info.

Rev 485

[!] Rewrote R4300_SetSR ( Tom and Jerry, Extreme-G XG2, Powerpuff Girls and other games boot now !)
[!] Fixed misaligned in C0_SR ( Fixes camara to be zoomed in too far in Wayne Gretzky’s 3D Hockey ’98)
[~] Got rid off all CHECK_R0s in our R400 core….phhheww
[+] kernelbuttons.prx is built in proper location (froggyman)
[!] Updated debug pif tools, it compiles now against Dx64 source, also define was moved to config file for easy usage.
[~] Small code clean up..

Rev 484:
- Reverted changes NativeTexturePSP from last commit(cause several games to crash)
- Added (user-mode) kernel buttons library
- Implemented early support to hook pause menu to home button to emulator
-Disabled Callbacks. Note : To exit the emulator you must press SELECT in romselector

Rev 483:
- Another small clean up

Rev 482:
- Another big code clean up
- Added a check to block unsupported firmwares

    Can Conkers bad fur day work with this build? Ive tried every time and it just hangs till the psp shuts off. I never cared for the 64 much, but i loved conkers. Rouge squadron was pretty fun too.

    This build is more buggy than the last. Stick with 481 for now.

    Problems that I have had with 485 is the games run slower, the home button does not function, and some games freeze. Again, 481 does not have these problems, or to the extent that I had them for 485.

    man they are making good progress, in mario 64 i can wander inside the castle with sound on! and bob omb battlefield does’nt bog down as bad when you enter,hopefully soon we’ll be rocking full speed emulation . i really want to play ocarina at good framerate.

    ok, is it just me, or is there ALWAYS a picture of mario on this website? why does it have to stay in the ‘featured’ section all of the time?
    i think n64 on the psp is great and all, but mario should’ve died a long time ago.

    yea when i upload this emulator it wont let me play donkey kong 64 for it it just crashes why is that

    Any big changes here, if any games have become playable it would be a good idea to mention it. I cant see much difference personally….
