DaedalusX64 Alpha Revision 466

Alpha Revision 466

A few changes in the latest release of DaedalusX64, the emulator for PSP. The teams introduced a new GUI and various other tweaks and changes. There are two download options, either revision 463 with the ROM previews included (32mb) or the lighter recent release without the previews.

We recommend you download the preview release and later just update to future releases, but overwriting the files. This way you keep the nice looking previews.

OK… you all need to seriously stop with all the “First to comment”, ” Second…”…… . No one cares how special you are. Everyone knows which comment # you are. Leave it at that.
    Now about this release:
The Menu is now kind of boring. Just a black background and now you press the Left or Right arrows to select which rom you want to run. If you have the Preview Picts, they kind of show up a bit blurry. When you highlight a rom, it will show the same info that the other releases showed but with a addition: Compatibility Info Not Available. This might be for all roms since all mine showed that msg. Any settings you change will be Default the next time you play that rom. So if a certain setting didnt work out so well, be sure to change it to another or the origional setting. Think if you are running a rom, make sound options prior to running the rom or you will freeze the EMU.
    Super Mario 64:
Do not use sound. Will freeze the EMU. Press HOME to exit the EMU. Grafix still look great though.
    Crusin USA:
Only rom I got that has the “Hold [ ] for more info. Press [ ] to get a pretty unreadable Recommended Settings Alpha. Then has some txt but can barely read it. Something about disabling some setting. Think it says: “Disable Simulate Double”. Whatever that is. Still Wont work though. Just a black screen. Crusin World doesnt work either. Same Black Screen.
Donkey Kong 64 – Kiosk and normal rom:
Kiosk takes so long to load…….4 minutes later… loads and still not working as always. Normal rom has same slow loading time and still unplayable. Seems to run faster then Kiosk but black screen after the “Presented in Dolby….” msg.
    Mario Kart 64:
Grafix are great as before without sound and but still has some effects issues. Sound still stutters with effects effected.
    NFL Blitz:
Still not playable. Game Freezes at loading screen ( 4 boxes that have different msgs).
Star Fox 64: Did the same as MKT when first attemp to load. Froze and when tried to exit EMU, shut off PSP. Loads good after restarting PSP. Grafix look great with no sound but has some issues at certain points. Sound still stutters with some effect on grafix. Still pretty playable though either way.

I am sorry but it is no significant difference between recent “update”,if that is an update. Only version number varies and the limited number of game supported. Actually only one game- Mario was flawlessly supported.
    Good Job though!
